I went to Ammuria and became a disciple of that man. Indeed. he was steadfast in the way of my former teachers. Walking in his service, I raised a number of cows and sheep. When my master's day was over and his life was coming to an end, I asked the question I had become accustomed to:
"You know my purpose." What should I do? To whom does the disciple fall?
"Son, by God, I don't know of anyone left on earth who holds fast to our religion." But the time of a prophet coming out of the land of the Arabs is near. He is sent with the religion of Abraham. Expelled from his city, he migrates to a city where many palm trees are planted, surrounded by black mountain rocks eroded by the wind. He has a few signs to keep in mind. The Prophet accepts the gift and does not touch the alms. There is a prophetic seal between the two corners. If you hear the tree of the city I told you about, go, 'he bequeathed.
I stayed in Amur for a few days after the death of my teacher. When the merchants of the Kalb tribe of the Arabs came, they were told:
"If you take me with you to the land of the Arabs, I will give you all my cows and sheep," I said.
They agreed. I gave my cattle as agreed and joined the caravan of traders. When we reached Vadil Qura (the valley between Madinah and Damascus), the Kalbis betrayed me and sold me as a slave to a Jew. I began to serve him. A few days later, my cousin Banu Qurayza, who had come to visit my master, bought me. We went to Yathrib. There I saw the dates mentioned by my Amurian master and knew that I had come to the city of the prophet. After that, my heart was much clearer. The Prophet was calling his people to Islam in Mecca at this time, but I was engaged in the heavy duties entrusted to my neck by the demands of slavery, and I had never heard of him.
Soon the Prophet migrated to Yathrib. At the time, I was busy pruning branches on top of a palm tree.
My master was sitting in the shade. At that moment one of the Jews came and said:
- May Allah destroy Banu Qaila (the Aws and Khazraj tribes of the Arabs living in Madinah). Notice that they went out to Mecca to meet a man who came from Mecca and claimed to be a prophet.
I was so excited to hear this news. My limbs trembled as if I had malaria. I hurried downstairs, knowing that if I stood in the tree for another moment, I would fall right on top of my master. He went to the Jew and said:
- What did you say? back, what did you say? I began to ask again and again. My boss was furious. He punched me in the head and said:
"What are you doing, puppy?" Climb the tree and do your job, 'he shouted.
When it was late, I put the dates I had gathered in a bowl and went to the place where the prophet had fallen. Entering him:
“People say that you are a righteous man, that your brothers around you are poor and needy. I had packed these dates to donate. I think you are more entitled to this charity than anyone else, ”I said, placing the container in front of him.
He said to his companions, "Take it," but he did not extend his hand. “That’s the first sign,” I said to myself.
A few days later, the Prophet came to Madinah from Quba. During this time I had accumulated a lot of dates. Taking the opportunity, I went to the Prophet and handed him the palm bowl:
"I have seen that you do not eat alms, but this is a gift, please accept it," I said.
He tasted the dates and invited his companions to eat as well. "It's the second one," I said to myself.
When one of the Muslims died and all the believers went to Baqiul Gharqad Cemetery to bury him, I followed them. The Prophet was sitting on the edge of the tomb covered with a blanket. I greeted him and moved to the back, eager to see the seal that my Amurian owner had said. The Prophet, upon him be peace and blessings, saw me staring and seemed to sense my purpose. He lowered his veil a little. "As far as I can see, there is a seal between his two shoulders!" I couldn’t help but hug the Messenger of Allah, kiss him and start crying. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"What happened to you?" They asked.
I recounted my adventures without dripping. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) liked my story. He ordered the Companions to tell me my fate. The Companions, who heard what I saw and experienced, learned a lot, and after so much suffering, they rejoiced that I had finally attained the truth.
Blessed are the days when Salman al-Farsi wandered in various places in search of the Truth!
Blessed is the day when Salman al-Farsi found the Truth and immediately believed!
Blessed is the day of his death and resurrection !!!
