Hi,

I'm a non-Muslim in the UK.

I share an office with a Muslim guy and he keeps giving me sweets and gifts for Ramadan. Almost every day he brings food in for me even though he does not eat himself.

I wanted to thank him by getting him something for when Ramadan ends. So I just wanted a bit of advice about what would be an appropriate food gift?

Any recommendations for sweets or chocolate or something like that?

Cheers,

dsd

No haraam containing food (Food without alcohol, pork or other impermissable meat in it).

Besides that, anything will do actually. It is really about the gesture and not about the gift itself.

But sweets like baclava and chocolates or products like dates or dried figs are much valuated.

Or maybe even something you or your wife cooked/baked.
