What about a forum for reverts and would be muslims to post their experiences?

I am currently coming to the conclusion that Islam is for me after feeling drawn to it for quite a while now. I joined here a few weeks ago and and over the last year I've been reading up lots about islam, reading the Quran, visiting forum's etc. But what I would really benefit from is talking to others like me, perhaps who are at the same stage as me or who have reverted themselves.

peace

i would like to congratualte you on coming close and finding the truth. if anything if you feel this is the case then you should hasten to accept islam and say the declaration. Many reverts or people interested is islam have this perception that they must learn everything like the prayer before accepting islam. when infact you are encouraged to accept as soon as possible.

i hope any questions you have can be answered from this discussion board. so if you do have any feel free to fire away and im sure your questions/queries will gladly be answered.

Peace Curious Girl:

It took me 3 years before I finally embraced Islam, Alhamdulillah, and the patience of a lot of brothers and sisters in islam with a willingless to talk to me for hours on end. To be honest, it was not an easy decision. What was the most difficult time for me was knowing everything I had learned and practiced was wrong and Islam was the truth, but still not having the courage to say the Shahadah. I don't regret taking my time but eventually the overwhelming feeling that I MUST embrace Islam took over and I was very confident and sure with my decision.

If I can answer any questions for you or help you in anyway, please don't hesitate to contact me. :)

May Allah, swt, continue to guide you to truth. Ameen
