I am aware of some Fuquha who have said that watching football is allowed. However, it is a waste of time. It is more beneficial to play it rather than watch it.
And some people will say that the Awra is seen... However, these specific Fuquha say that as long as you do not entertain yourselves by staring at their Awra... it is allowed.
