Salaam,

My first Advice will be not to use Internet Explorer (IE) when browsing the Net. This is because the majority of viruses, hackers and Spyware attack Internet Explorer users. Recently Microsoft Adviced there customers not to use there browser (IE) but to use Safari (by Apple). I personally use Mozilla Firefox when I am using the Net for a Long time.

  • Don't give out any personal information to anyone you don't know.

  • Don't give out your IP addy to anyone you don't know. (they can hack ur pc)

  • Don't click on any miscellaneous links that you have never seen before, because it can lead to a virus.

  • If you do have a virus to get pc cleaned out ASAP.

  • It's best to turn off your pop-up to prevent spam.

That's it for now, I'll think of some more later insha'Allah.

Man those people that add people and forward the things.

I got a question, I now use mozilla thingy, now on my old interenet thingy, I get pop-ups all the time, and the pop up blocker is on, even thought I dont use that no more because I use Mozilla,

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT THESE POP UPS, they never used to happen before I got mozilla, now they happen they make my pc slow and some are rude :(

You need some antispyware software. No matter what you use to surf the internet, you will get spyware on your pc and it will slow your pc down if you dont clear it off. Check out PestPatrol or Microsoft also do anti-spyware software too, cant remember the name though. Also remember its all very well having antivirus and antispyware software on your pc, but you MUST remember to update it weekly at the very least! Its amazing how many people dont bother and think they are safe!

Peace

DO

-Give as many reps as possible to certain members, who shall not be named. They do all rhyme with 'Ruezzin' though. And 'Tinaz', that freeloader.

-Read everything before you sign up.

-Stay the hell away from kiddy porn ya sicko.

DON'T

-Spill water on your keyboard before licking it. There's a fifty percent chance you could die.

-Try to feed your mouse cheese.

-Put up pictures of your friends on hotornot.com without their knowledge. Especially if they look like a dragon's butt.

-Sit on the scanner and forward your butt-scan to everyone in your address book, with the message 'Pucker up'.

About the Pop-Ups, you need to turn on the Pop-Up stoper to stop pop-up appearing.

And about the IP address it is freely available in the emails and etc, so you cant hide your IP address. And Your IP address changes every time you connect to the Interent with a broadabnd connection.

Dont go to dodgy sites - they can contain trojans embedded into their coding as Active X controllers or other
