I used to be SOOOOO into games and all that........I used to place my PS2 on a high pedestal in the front room......

No sis, not all nasheeds are bad. But the ones that have Music are. Because music is the tool of the shaytaan and takes you away from worship. It is disrespectful to use Music in nasheeds anyway. But nasheeds with just a drum or voice are halaal as most of the scholars believe. I don't really listen to 'em any more because for me it was a waste of time. The shaytaan tries to make you commit kufr, if he cant do that he makes you do bid'ah, if he can't do that he tries to make you commit a major sin, and if he can't do that he makes you to do a minor sin, and if he can't do that he makes you waste time with things that are halaal, and if he can't do that he makes you do a lesser good deed. He is very sneaky, and with me I used to do listen to them TOO much, so I gave them up all together, and now I use my free time to listen to Qur'an, islamic talks, Du'as etc.... beneficial things.
I would not tell someone to stop listening to nasheeds, but to watch out how much time they spend listening to them. May Allah forgive me for anything incorrect I said, ameen.

Sis the drum is allowed according to my understanding. But other instruments are not allowed. Native Deen use percussion I think, I think their aim is to get youngsters to listen to their stuff. But the deen was established before they were even a molecule in existance, so we cannot accept things in Islam just because other Muslims do it. We have to back up our claims with evidence insha-Allah. So Allah knows best.:)

I offer the sunnah prayers of each salah... salaat ad-duha... witr... and tahajjud on most nights alhamdulillah. I can't be bothered to do tha maths:giggling:. Besides, tahajjud varies depending on how early i wake up.

The qualities i look for in my hubby-to-be... hmmmm.... well....let me see....
lol ok, well he has to be very much into islam, at least as much as me... alot of taqwa. I want him to lower his gaze when non-mahrem women are around. He should have a fist-sized beard at least if he is able to grow it. He should wear like not western clothes, i wnt him to be proud of his Muslim identity. It would be nice if he had alot of knowledge about Islam, but he should at least have a good understanding. I really don't care for looks. If he has a beard then i'm sure he will look handsome:statisfie. I guess he should be taller than me, but I don't mind that much aslong as he aint THAT much of a midget LOL. The happiest day of my life... i hope it is my wedding day, but so far it has been... erm... lemme see... i dunno:offended: (this makes me feel sad LOL)

The worst day of my life was also when my mother passed away. I never felt pain like that before. It made me realise i'm alot stronger than i thought i was.
