I think there was another thread like this a few days back...
Well my answer is..
It answers all my questions..Plus it makes me feel soo close to God, How we're constantly remembering him in everything we do. Also it puts a limit to your actions..you can never be a bad person if you practice Islam the way it should be followed. And simply because i believe it's the truth.

Selamunaleykum...
First of all I want to show the real part of your question. You have asked why we believe in islam. However we have to know "what is Islam?".
In Islam there ara some principal of faith in Islam:
*Faith of prophet.
*Faith of God
*Faith of Bibles
*Faith of Angel
*FAith of destiny
*Faith of Resurrection and Hereafter.

These are the fundamental rules of a peacefull life.God oredered us to obey them because He loves us.
Every village must have its headman; every needle must haveits manufacturer and craftsman.
Now be careful.
When we buy a new device we read its user guide. As you know, it's user guide is written by its manufacturer.Similarly, God has given us a body and He going on giving new blessing. Now I am asking to you:Who can best explain how we use our body, soul and the other blessings?Of course their creator, God.
On the other hand, He need to receive His messages to us about who we are, why we are created, where are we and where will we go.For these reason, He chose an embessador from creatures. The most capable of creatures is human because it has intelligence.Of course then He chose the most superior of human in morals, virtue, worship. That perfect manof all Human life span, according to consensus of friends and enemy, is Mohammed (PBUH).He sent Qoran to Muhammed for all people.
Until Now I have summarize faith of God, Bibles, Prophet.

Is it possible that God created human on the World and the other part of universe is free.Of course there are some creatures which created by God live far of universe. Some of them lives on stars.Guess what they are...
There are some angles live there. That universe is not empty.Fire do not harm light.Angles are made of light.God receive his messages to Prophets through an angel.

Other than these; ıf there is hell, oppression of people such as Stalin, Hittler cannot be punished in anyway.Only God can punnish them really.

Islam includes these and more other wonderfull things. So I am Muslim. If you want to learn any other thins about Islam, you can ask as you wish.

My English is not very good, so I am sorry...

And I recommendend you to read this.

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
Those who believe in the Unseen.
If you want to understand what great happiness and bounty, what great pleasure and ease are to be found in belief in God, listen to this story which is in the form of a comparison:
One time, two men went on a journey for both pleasure and business. One set off in a selfish, inauspicious direction, and the other on a godly, propitious way.
Since the selfish man was both conceited, self-centred, and pessimistic, he ended up in what seemed to him to be a most wicked country due to his pessimism. He looked around and everywhere saw the powerless and the unfortunate lamenting in the grasp of fearsome bullying tyrants, weeping at their destruction. He saw the same grievous, painful situation in all the places he travelled. The whole country took on the form of a house of mourning. Apart from becoming drunk, he could find no way of not noticing this grievous and sombre situation. For everyone seemed to him to be an enemy and foreign. And all around he saw horrible corpses and despairing, weeping orphans. His conscience was in a state of torment.
The other man was godly, devout, fair-minded, and with fine morals so that the country he came to was most excellent in his view. This good man saw universal rejoicing in the land he had entered. Everywhere was a joyful festival, a place for the remembrance of God overflowing with rapture and happiness; everyone seemed to him a friend and relation. Throughout the country he saw the festive celebrations of a general discharge from duties accompanied by cries of good wishes and thanks. He also heard the sound of a drum and band for the enlistment of soldiers with happy calls of “God is Most Great!” and “There is no god but God!” Rather than being grieved at the suffering of both himself and all the people like the first miserable man, this fortunate man was pleased and happy at both his own joy and that of all the inhabitants. Furthermore, he was able to do some profitable trade. He offered thanks to God.
After some while he returned and came across the other man. He understood his condition, and said to him: “You were out of your mind. The ugliness within you must have been reflected on the outer world so that you imagined laughter to be weeping, and the discharge from duties to be sack and pillage. Come to your senses and purify your heart so that this calamitous veil is raised from your eyes and you can see the truth. For the country of an utterly just, compassionate, beneficent, powerful, order-loving, and kind king could not be as you imagined, nor could a country which demonstrated this number of clear signs of progress and achievement.” The unhappy man later came to his senses and repented. He said, “Yes, I was crazy through drink. May God be pleased with you, you have saved me from a hellish state.”
O my soul! Know that the first man represents an unbeliever, or someone depraved and heedless. In his view the world is a house of universal mourning. All living creature are orphans weeping at the blows of death and separation. Man and the animals are alone and without ties being ripped apart by the talons of the appointed hour. Mighty beings like the mountains and oceans are like horrendous, lifeless corpses. Many grievous, crushing, terrifying delusions like these arise from his unbelief and misguidance, and torment him.
As for the other man, he is a believer. He recognizes and affirms Almighty God. In his view this world is an abode where the Names of the All-Merciful One are constantly recited, a place of instruction for man and the animals, and a field of examination for man and jinn. All animal and human deaths are a demobilization. Those who have completed their duties of life depart from this transient world for another, happy and trouble-free, world so that place may be made for new officials to come and work. The birth of animals and humans marks their enlistment into the army, their being taken under arms, and the start of their duties. Each living being is a joyful regular soldier, an honest, contented official. And all voices are either glorification of God and the recitation of His Names at the outset of their duties, and the thanks and rejoicing at their ceasing work, or the songs arising from their joy at working. In the view of the believer, all beings are the friendly servants, amicable officials, and agreeable books of his Most Generous Lord and All-Compassionate Owner. Very many more subtle, exalted, pleasurable, and sweet truths like these become manifest and appear from his belief.
That is to say, belief in God bears the seed of what is in effect a Tuba-Tree of Paradise, while unbelief conceals the seed of a Zakkum-Tree of Hell.
That means that salvation and security are only to be found in Islam and belief. In which case, we should continually say, “Praise be to God for the religion of Islam and perfect belief.”

One of the many things I love about Islam is it's between you and Allah, no one else in between. The Oneness of God (Allah) is absolutely beautiful and amazing for me.

I was Roman Catholic and we were always taught that Jesus (Isa..alayhis salam..peace be upon him) is our salvation and how he is the only way we can go to God, yet at the same time they were saying he was God? It didn't really make sense to me. I am not saying I did not love Isa (alayhis salam). I loved him very much (I still do) and I would try to follow his humble example. When I came across Islam, I was so amazed at how much respect Muslims give to Isa (alayhis salam) and all of the Prophets.

Islam is not a new religion. It affirms the same Monotheism that Prophet Adam started. Throughout the existence of mankind Prophets were sent and passed on the same message - ' Submit your will to Allah ' - He is our Creator and Master. We are powerless in front of Him because to Him belongs all Power. To Him we belong and to Him we will return after we die.
Islam is a beautiful religion. Look at from every aspect of life - Islam teaches us the best morals, how to deal with your parents, family..the rights of neighbours...and so on. It also teaches us to recognize and appreciate the ONE TRUE GOD and really every human is born with this natural instinct of belief in the Onenness of Allah. Islam is in the only religion that brings us closest to Allah, our Creator. That is the real purpose of our existence - To establish our relationship with Allah - He has laid down rules and regulations for our own benifit, but it is us who dont see the benifit in it. We like to follow our desires and the whispers of Shayateen.
I mean there is no end to what I can right about Islam.
Allah informs of the coming of a new prophet in the older scriptures - his signs and prophecies -
Thats why the learned and true believers of the Jewish faith(followers of Musa Alayhissalaam) all knew about the coming of Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alayhi wa sallam. They came to Yathrib(Medina) and settled down there...and were waiting for a new prophet to come. All those jews were true believers and the inhabitants of Jannah Inshallah unlike those who argued and refuted the fact that - how come a great prophet is to come and he is not from our tribe? - It was in their scriptures about the coming of a new prophet.

In nothing do the hearts find peace and rest but in the rememberance of Allah. If you are sincere in your efforts to seek the truth. Definitely Allah is with you.
Islam is so beautiful.

I believe not only because I was born muslim, but because Islam is the only religion that answers all my questions satisfactorily & covers all facets of life a human comes across from birth, death and the hereafter. I've included some examples here...

It tells us how: (these are God's laws.. not man-made)
* to worship our Creator in the proper way which includes, obedience, love, respect, cleanliness, hope of forgiveness, fear of punishment of sin & more..

* to conduct our social and personal affairs from family relationships to business ones with clear guide lines without violating anyone's rights that includes business, politics and even rules on war

* to behave towards others, whether that be husband, wife, son, mother, father, neighbour, all relatives and neighbours, strangers, Only Islam distinctively outlines the rights of every human being, even the ones who have passed away..

* in the Quran, the universe was created.. the conciseness of Quranic texts has even surprised the most skeptical scientists in it's explanation on embryology, astronomy, the water cycle and seas, the earth's atmospheric pressure, celestial organisation, the skin, the cerebrum, the muscolo-skeletal system and much much more.... you name it.. it's there!

well i could go on, but of course that would take forever.. this is just the tip of the iceburg.. Islam is amazing in the way once you realise it's the truth, you cannot turn your back on it again..

if you wish to read more about scientific facts in the Quran, which have been backed up by professors, scholars, scientists (non-muslims0 from all over the world, then check out the site below and be prepared to be amazed against your will..

alhumdulillah,, i can't thank Allah enough for bestowing me with the highest blessing of being a muslimah alhumdulillah alhumdulillah alhumdulillah.. wooohoo who needs drugz... i'm buzzing just knowing ima muslim :giggling:

peace & blessingz

1- Quran has been proven to be the Word of God. All the scientfic facts in Quran have been proven 100% correct to research done.

2- Islam brings peace to mind and soul. Just by reciting the Quran, one forgets the whole world around him/her.
