salaams ppl

i knw there are quite a few things goin around abt smokin but is it really haraam most say it is n i knw tht there is evidence 2 support tht but still i myself smoke:hiding: but plannin to quit nuttin ever works tho not tht ive tried pathces etc but most ppl say they dnt
 
i think its haraam cz its bad for ur health
n anythin that damages ur health is haraam
allah is gona ask u about ur health on qiyamah!!! think about it
may allah guide us:)
 
just tryna get the willpower to stop coz you only harming yourself and if you have children around ya you also damaging them and other ppl due to passive smoke so jus try your best to quit...make dua to Allah to give you the power and sabr to stop smoking :) Allah always answers duas of the believer sooner or later; u may not notice it but Allah does and sometimes gives better than what u ask for :) stay strong sister
 
try havin willpower when ur at a new school no1 knws anything abt u xcept tht u smoke :rant: not gd
 
Don't mosted people have vices? Is smoking any worse than loving desserts, spending too much time on the internet, etc....?

Desserts don't cause lung cancer or heart disease. You would figure more people would be concerned about their health rather than indulge in smoking because they can't help themselves.

What I don't get is that if smoking is haraam, how come I see so many Muslims smoking water pipes?

For the record, smoking's a nasty habit that'll kill ya.

well i used to smoke stopped for a reason and be honest i know many lil kids smoke cause they think it's cool and there hard but believe me it's hard to stop!

It's a bit like biting ur nails.......

Boy it was hard to get me to stop.................After my mum said that my fingers will stop growing, i stopped completely.

but after quite a while ma nails looked horrible so i hated it and i stopped biting them
