I would like to know the proper islamic conduct between non-mahrem men and women in a working environment. A friend of mine's husband is a manager and although he is a good person and practising moslem he tends to get very close and personal with the secretaries he has to work with. Since he spends more time with them than his wife and family, some problems occur especially when one secretary turned up at her house without even her knowledge and another secretary who was married (but not happily obviously) decided to get a divorce so she could marry my friend's husband. Please advise what is the proper conduct in an office environment so that manager's can protect themselves from going astray and ruining families! May Allah reward you.
