:sl:

I ask for your help(assistant) because I have an oral presentation to be made, my demand consists has that to correct me to you my text.

And if you have remarks, do not hesitate. :?

Barak' Allah oufik

:w:

Good morning everyone,

aMy presentation is a description, by beginning by describing Jobcentre to manage at the profession to adviser council.
If I chose this subject, it is because I would like to exercise this job. Because I like the relational part and especially to be able to help persons in their steps(methods).

aCome on, I would like to present to you the Jobcentre Plus employment agency. It’s an organisation equivalent to our “Agence National Pour l’Emploi”.

Let us start with a brief presentation of what jobcentre plus, indeed it’s an organisation within the Department for Work and Pensions.

The Jobcentre Plus has, of course, different goals :
On of them is to contribute to the Government’s plan of tacking poverty, reducing unemployment, promoting growth and modernising Government services.
Another goal is to help a large number of people to finds jobs, employers to fill in their vacancies, and provide the workforce with the help and support to which they are authorized to.

aHaving you to present briefly the JCP, we go to see(visit) together which are the utilities that it can get you, for it we are going to suppose various hypotheses :

Æ If you wish to find a job, you can contact a adviser to use, according to your situation and to your waits (attentes), for it he is going to present you the adapted program.

Now, we go to see the various programs to which you can adhere :

aThe Condition Management Programme, CMP in short, is an innovative new programme delivered in partnership with the National Health Service. The CMP is designed to help people understand and manage their heath condition in a work environment.

aAnother programme is the Ambition Programme. It offers quality training designed by employers and adapted to your needs. It makes sure that you get the skills that employers want and have a good chance of securing a long term beneficial job. Training is currently available in the branch of energy and health.

aI will now introduce the Action Teams, AT in short.
The Action Teams Concentrate their work on people who are often called “the hardest to help”(faire tout son possible). These people include groups such as the long-term unemployed, those with alcohol or drug problems, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, those whose first language is not English, ex-delinquent and refugees to name but a few.
The Action Teams also help you improve your skills. Many people have difficulty finding work because they want the skills that many employers need. Action Teams can help you get the training you need to improve your skills and increase your chances of finding a job.

aIn addition to what I've mentioned before, Action Teams inform people on how to claim their rights.

Æ If you want to make a claim, you can establish a file (dossier) for claim yours rights with a adviser. Advisers have access to backing(support) which they can use (at their discretion) to help you.

aIf you decide to take up a work trial(test), in favour of someone from the Jobcentre Plus Office or the Jobcentre will make arrangements for you to continue receiving benefit and will agreement with any question you have.

For example, during a work trial you will :
- get the chance to try out a job for up to 15 working days and show an employer that you are the right person to fill it ;
- continue to receive any benefits you are authorized to (e.g. Jobseeker’s allowance, Incapacity Benefit, income Support)
- be paid travel expenses of up to £10 per day and meal expenses of up to £3 per day.

aIndeed the expert staff can tell you about the benefits you can claim, You are claiming for example Maternity allowance, Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit, or Bereavement Payment or still Careers Allowance.

aIf you are claiming benefits other than jobseeker’s Allowance it is your decision whether or not you want to look for work.
You will not be asked to look for or take a job if you do not feel it is right for you at the moment. You will still be able to claim benefits through Jobcentre Plus as long as you have taken part in the meeting with your personal adviser.

Æ My last hypothesis is, if you want working with Jobcentre Plus, by becoming to advise the employment.
Indeed, if you plan to become an adviser council, here are some of the requirements for this job.

aAccording to me the Employment advice workers offer advice and support to clients on many employment issues, including :

· Low pay
· Constructive dismissal
· Disciplinary procedures
· Equal opportunities
· Family friendly employment policies
· and Other employment rights issues

aHowever, typical activities will usually include:

Interpreting and explaining legislation and offal documents, such as employment contracts
Identifying possible courses of action, e.g. the need for legal help or planning a good CV
Liasing with other organisations, e.g. solicitors, trade unions and employers
Referring clients to other sources of help, e.g. recruitment agencies and solicitors
Keeping up to date with current employment legislation

aBut, since specific higher education qualifications are not essential for advice workers, training within the profession, even if much of it is informal, is very important.

aEach organisation is likely to offer its own particular on the job training scheme.

aThis might be a combination of induction programmes, being mentored by more experienced advisers or being sent on relevant training courses.

aThese may be in basic counselling skills, specific aspects of the law or relating to gaining an understanding of a particular social issue, such as drug or alcohol dependency.

I think that for many advice workers, career development is likely to involve a move away from giving advice face to face, at least for part of the time.

aPromotion is often linked to taking on additional or different responsibilities, such as :

Training new staff
Developing the of volunteer advisers
Working on promoting or publicising the service
Income generation and financial management

aAlthough there are also some openings to move into advice bureau or centre management, in general, advice work is a low pyramid offering relatively few numbers of management posts.
Some advice centres are co-operatively run, with no hierarchical job structure.

aAdvice workers who gain most satisfaction from client work may decide to develop their careers by taking a course in counselling.

Others may choose to train as lawyers or to develop expertise in one of the specialised areas of advice work, such as housing, debt and finance or drug and alcohol related problems.

aMy some reference of story the site of Jobcentre as well as that of the Prospect

aDo you have questions ? Thank you very much to have listened to me.

:D This is useful!

I need advice on the following please:

Will I be entitled to family credit allowance (called sumthin like that) if I go into self-employment?

What forms would I need to declare myself self-employed?

If I am not earning enough, would I be entitled to rent-rebate?

Will council tax be worked out according to my income or property or both and in the case of low income would I be entitled to help?

Are government funds/loans available for people wanting to start their own business?

If after starting my own business, I cannot cover my living costs, will I easily be able to claim income support again?

Thank you :)
