Question:

What do Muslims do at Mosque's?

Is it similar to Christian churches? You hear the "preacher" give a sermon, pray, sing, ect. Then go to classes divided by age/maturity level?

Can Non-Muslims sit in and visit/observe said practices? Does someone sing/chant the Quran? I am told it sounds like a song, and I would like to hear it. What little I have heard of someone singing it, it sounds beautiful.

I ask this question, because I was recently barred from visiting a Baha'i church.

We pray to God :) . This includes Dhikr (contemplation), Du'a (supplication) and of course the formal prayer, Salah.

Sermons are delivered regularly in the Mosques at the friday prayer. Mosques may often organize programs where scholars and imaams are invited to give other sermons as well. Many mosques also have classes to teach Islamic studies.

Can Non-Muslims sit in and visit/observe said practices?

If you speak to a Muslim you could probably arrange a visit to your local mosque and observe the practices.
