That is pretty sick. Why do you guys/girls like pictures of dead people so much? And you say western porn is sick? War porn is 10x as sick--it serves a political purpose whereas live, naked people do not.

I just happen to find pictures of dead people sick. By the way, some people on this forum are saying that pictures are haraam. I don't know if they are or not. However, I would hope that pictures of dead "martyrs" would be haraam.

Coz the dead r not really dead, so these pics It reminds us that death is not the end of it. it makes us happy coz we see that some of our brothers n sisters finally found some comfort....
I find ur argument n ur logic quite disturbing. Lots of things r used to serve ploitical agendas, but that dosent mean all of that is sick. Dead peaple r as good as a live. We look at them with respect, we see them as ppl who maintaind their principles, their dignity n their freedom.

Allah says, 'Don't even think that Shuhadah are dead' and you are calling them dead? Change your Iemaan and Aqiedah, and fear Allah, if you are a Muslim!

That's not what Knut was implying. The word 'pornography' does not mean 'pictures of naked people'. It literally means 'exciting writing' in Greek. It's now used to describe other forms of media as well as writing.
'War porn' refers to media concerned with war that excite people, such as the gruesome images given in the link.
I can't believe that looking at images like that is considered OK, while even a picture of a woman in a bikini would be forbidden. The general impression that this gives is that violence and death seem to be much more acceptable to Muslims than sex.
Knut isn't a Muslim.

Fudhalah bin 'Ubayd narrated that the Prophet (Pbuh) said: " A seal is put over the actions of every dead person except one who dies in the cause of Allah; verily, [the rewards for his] actions will increase for him up to the Day of Ressurection, and also he will be proteceted from the trials of the graves"
