I am writing to you on behalf of a lonely and isolated brother in a
Russian prison. He is incarcerated on so called terror charges where
no-one actually speaks his language [he speaks english]

Currently there is only 1 person writing to him and we at HHUGS have
been told that it really makes him very happy when he receives
letters. It really lifts his spirits Alhamdullilah.

“You will find the believers, with respect to their mutual mercy, love and compassion for one another, like one body: if one portion of the body is ailing, the rest of the body suffers from sleeplessness and fever." (Bukhari and Muslim)



"None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."

I got this from another site, i dont really know the brother. But I think we should keep posting these kind of mails around, because you never know who might respond to the brother/sister, and they may be of some help or benefit insha'Allaah.

I don't think you should mention your address if you feel comfortable not to. There have been instances when the brothers and sisters feel happy just to receive the letters because they know that the ummah is still remembering them and that they are not alone.

yeah i rlly would prefer not to provide my address. i dont really want any reply, i dontthink it would be appropriate. so just wanted to make sure i was okay to do that. with him being a terror suspect i was imagining the middle people would want to make checks on everything.
