as much as i hate bio (didnt do it in school, stuck with it in uni), especially botany:

q.3 has something to do with phloem, which has 2 way transport (i.e. up and down, xylem is only one way), it transports sugars, which are the products of photosynthesis, from the leaf (location of photosynthesis) to the rest of the plants, including the roots.

thats all i can remember sorry, exam was over weeks ago and i can forget everything i know about plants since it has nothing to do with optometry in the first place!

1 = i think human systems are mainly dependant on one another, except for the heart (the sino atrial noed in the heart is myogenic = it doesn't require external nervous impulses and works independantly)
And they are interconnected in such a way that one leads to another e.g the matabolic reactions - if the chain is disrupted then the rest of the reactions can't occur. Also the muscles work in pairs and need each other contract/relax.
This is related to an organism coz the organism is one and can only work efficiently if all the partswithin it are functioning adequately (something like that)

Hope this helps - i can't be bothered writing more but if u need more specific help i'm right here :)
