When I visited Shaykh Shuraim at his house I went into his library it was huge with thousands of books mashallah - he had all the famous hadith books and many many others.

Anyway when I was in the library I saw the quran on CD format and as I went closer and saw it properly it was the whole quran set by SS and SAS i think year 1423 (can't remember now) - it was well funny - he probably listens to himself and SAS. :) :) :) :)

i remember one taraweeh prayer couple of years back when SS was reading and stretching his voice to a limit where he starts coughing really hard and stopped reading and it showed him and his head was proper down

Mashallah an excellent khutba and very unique topic about the basic priniciples of Islam - the Shaykh focused on knowledge and how one must not give fatwas and making things prohibited/unprohibited themselves but must look to the scholars who have the detailed knowledge of quran and the hadith and use their fatwas.

If the laymen interprets quran and hadith then they will go wrong and cause problems and crisis in society due to their lack of knowledge and incorrect interpration.

A very important lesson indeed!
