:sl: brothers and sisters.

I was wondering, what is the ruling of covering infront of a homosexuals (men). I mean, they do not have feelings for women as they like the same gender as themselves. But, is covering still necessary?

Also, I was wondering. Do homosexuals ever become hetersexuals later in thier life?

I think you should check these fatwas out insha'Allaahu ta'aala:

Abnormal relationship between women

The punishment for lesbianism

None of them seem to answer my question.
All I need to know is: Are we meant to cover infront of homosexual men and do these homosexuals ever become heter again.

Br Alpha answered one question: As for homosexuals becoming heterosexuals, of course it's possible, no person is set in a default state of homosexual, they can change

But, one of the fatwas mentioned that if there was no temptation then it should be 'O.K'.

I cannot get my head around this. If there is a possibilty that the homosexual will become hetersexual, then there would be fitnah. correct? Maybe I am making this rather confusing but I really must find out.

The thing is, there are alot of homosexuals who have become hetrosexual again. But some are even bisexual (i.e. prefer both males and females) which is even more of a fitnah.

So why not just cover up infront of both types, no matter what they are? Atleast this way - you're protecting yourself from the danger insha'Allaahu ta'aala.

Remember that Allaah azawajal has created people in a way that they can change themselves totally - 180 degrees. I know this for a certainty because of the story of Iblees, and even the story of 'Umar bin Khattab (radhiAllaahu anhu) - he was tough in persecuting the muslims at the beginning of islam, yet he was the 2nd best saaliheen after abu bakr (radhiAllaahu anhu) later on.

This is why we should be afraid of falling into sin and seeking refuge in Allaah from evil, because we never know what could happen in our future which could lead to haraam.

The same way, a person could be a homosexual and turn to hetrosexuality, and the same way a normal hetrosexual could turn into a homo. So we should seek refuge in Allaah azawajal all the time, no matter what the evil.

Allaah Almighty knows best.
