I was in El Cajon City the other day when Asr prayer was lurking behind us. I remember praying in this masjid a few times when passing by the neighborhood but when I turned the corner and saw the masjid totally destroyed, I was shocked. Completely shocked. My brain couldn't process any words to come out of my mouth. After seeing the damage, I found this clip after searching endlessly for even one entry about this incident.

Subhanallah it is indeed a shame. Arson? Allahu alam. Now what the community needs to do is find a way to rebuild the masjid if it is possible.
