And brother Abdulllah Saood mentioned about Sheikh Budayr having 2 wives, as I think somebody he knows went to the wedding.

About Sheikh Juhany, if he is currently 25, he would have been 17 when he started leading in Masjid al Nabawi in 1998. Not impossible, but seems highly unlikely. His being 32+ seems more believable, as they usually become imaams at 20+. If I remember right, he was 23 when he started leading, but I'm not sure.

In Madina one man advanced on the first row would not go one the second row for Salat al Maghreb, and so, another man was between the imam and the first row could not pray....they was nearly to fight in order to understand to the first man to go on second row (he did'nt want at first), so at the fine 2-3 man made him understand that he have to go on the second row and the man between imam and first row finally could line up with the first row.

From what I remember, brother Abdullah Saood said that the senior imaams are given preference of doing the dua. Out of those leading Sheikh Sudais is the senior, being there for 20 some years mashaAllah. :)

lol, he's been doing it since the early 90s I guess. Before that it was Sheikh Khulaify who used to do it, again giving preference to the senior imaam. :)

ابن الشيخ الخليفي متذكراً لحظاته الاخيرة:
مبـكي الملايـين توفي في السـيارة

الشيخ عبدالله محمد عبدالله الخليفي -يرحمه الله- امام وخطيب المسجد الحرام
من مواليد البكيرية 1333هـ ونشأ وترعرع في بيت علم ودين كان والده شيخا وعالما كبيرا وقاضيا لمدينة البكيرية وحفظ القرآن غيبا وعمره لم يتجاوز الخامسة عشرة بدأ امامة المصلين مساعدا لوالده بالمسجد التحتي بالبكيرية ثم انتقل الى مسجد (النملة) بمدينة البكيرية فذاع صيته بين أبناء المنطقة الذين يحرصون على الصلاة خلفه، وذكر ذلك
بعض المقربين للملك فيصل بن عبدالعزيز يرحمه الله فامر باستدعائه للصلاة معه كامام خاص به في مدينة الطائف
وكان ذلك في اوائل الستينات الهجرية، واستمر اماما في القصر لمدة عامين وفي عام 1365هـ تقريبا امر الملك فيصل رحمه الله بتعيينه اماما وخطيبا في المسجد الحرام وهو أول من جمع المصلين على صلاة التهجد آخر الليل في العشر الاواخر من رمضان خلف امام واحد في المسجد الحرام، واستمر كذلك حتى وفاته عام 1414هـ.

اما عن الساعات الأخيرة رحمه الله يحدثنا عنها ابنه عبدالرحمن بن عبدالله الخليفي يقول: فعندما كنا في منطقة الردف بالطائف من بعد عصر يوم الاثنين الموافق 28/2/1414هـ كانت حالة الوالد طبيعية ولا يشكو من أية امراض او اعراض فارسلني الى السوق القريب لاحضار بعض المستلزمات وعندما عدت اليه وجدته مجهدا فطلبت منه ان يذهب معي الى المستشفى أو احضر له طبيبا فرفض وطلب مني ان اضع له فراشا كي يرتاح قليلا، وبالفعل ارتاح لمدة نصف ساعة وبعدها طلبت منه ان يذهب معي للمنزل، فوافق حيث قام وتوضأ وركب معي في السيارة، واتجهنا للمنزل وفي الطريق عاوده الاجهاد وتقيأ عدة مرات، وكان اثناءها يقرأ ورده اليومي بصوت خافت حيث كان حريصا عليه وفجأة توقف عن الكلام ثم ارتفع نفسه وحشرج صدره وشخص بصره فذهبت به الى مستشفى الملك فيصل بالطائف لكن الاطباء فاجأونا بانه توفي وهو في السيارة قبل وصوله المستشفى، أي قبل اذان المغرب وهو وقت طالما تأهب فيه للصلاة بجموع المسلمين في الحرم. ويضيف قائلا: وفي اليوم التالي الموافق ليوم الثلاثاء 29/2/1414هـ صُلي عليه بعد العصر بالمسجد الحرام عند باب الكعبة المشرفة وتحت اعتابها في مكان صلى هو فيه بالناس اماما ما يقارب الخمسين عاما ودفن بمقبرة (العدل) وصلى عليه مرة أخرى من لم يتمكن من حضور صلاة الجنازة في المسجد الحرام، ولا زلنا نتذكره كثيرا خاصة في شهر رمضان وعند سماعنا ل

سورة النور (الله نور السموات والأرض) التي طالما كان يقرأ بها في صلاة المغرب في الحرم رحمه الله تعالى رحمة واسعة.

Yeah, Khatam should be Friday night. :) I think it would be the same as last year, when Sheikh Budayr led the 2nd 10, and then on the Khatam night Sheikh Sudais took the 2nd 10 and Sheikh Budayr took the 2nd 4 of Tahajjud.
