This is a collaboration I did with another brother called Xceptional his is the first verse and mine the second

Hajj

[Xceptional]
I’ve been contemplating; I think my heart is aching
I need to give something back to my Lord after so much taking
Is it a coincidence that Allah’s guided me in the Holy season?
Maybe if I make the pilgrimage my soul will be forgiven for its treason
So I pack my bags and begin the calls of ‘Labaik’
Whilst correcting my intention purely for Allah’s sake
I feel my life in transition as I enter into Ihram
And tears roll down my cheeks as I see Masjid al-Haraam
I make sujood to my Lord, pure tranquillity
Being a submitter is better than being free
Now it’s the 8th of Dhul Hijjah, and with a million others I journey to Mina
Hours spent in supplications; maybe He’ll forgive this ungrateful sinner
Then off to Arafat, as we all beseech Ar Rahman
“Ya Ghaffar, Ya Tawwab, save us from Jahannam’s harm!”
By the afternoon I travel once again to blessed Makkah
And like our beloved mother Hajar, walk between Safa and Marwah
There are more rituals, but words cannot explain
By Allah! I know my life will never be the same
I had to bid farewell to Makkah, but it’ll always be in my heart
My soul has true Iman, and I pray that it’ll never depart

[Carpe Diem]
I’d bleed just so my sandals would touch Mecca dirt
Nasheed and candles, while prayers are put to work
Angels scribe quranic verses and my hearts intentions
Start to mention, in arts invention iman that strengthens
When I first felt that marble floor, a humble feeling
Stumbled concealing, tears behind hundreds of meanings
Of why Allah is greatest, he granted me this
Strength to climb Safa, at the top I panted in the mist
Poured prayers over to Marwa I was planted in a gift
In Hajj we’re all people, we’re all equal in our Haram
His prequel calm, I touch the ends of my sequel palms
And pray prominently as I circle the Kabbah
Pray in every next circle that much harder
And only hope I could kiss that sacred black stone
That the angel brought down to be placed in Allah’s home
And lastly Allah I pray more then twice
Forgive our sisters, brothers our family our kin our life
Forgive our every sin and grant us paradise…Inshallah
Much Luv & Salaam
