Gorgeous photography masha'Allah, in case you didn't know I love skyscapes :D.

that floating pillar in the pink sky looks surreal!
I need to really buy myself a good camera and learn proper photography. I've been procrastinating for so long, I really need it for my art projects but also I live in the countryside, with wonderful natural beauty all around me, and I'm sitting here not making use of them.

DSLR cannot be compared to a point n shoot or mobile phone camera.
World of difference.
Oh, and no DSLR? no Bokeh ;)

uuuuhhh..i didn't know such a topic existed :). You are free to use this picture. I made these with the Samsung Galaxy S4 camera (released back in 2013). Being able to make beautiful pictures, is having the feeling for it i think. Some people have AMAZING camera's but they just don't have the feeling for it i think. Although if i would have a very good camera, i would show you even more beautiful pictures. However, you will sometimes witness things in life with the lens that Allah(swt) has given you (eyes)..and i am sure of it..you will NEVER be able to capture the beauty of that with a man made camera. That is why, just put away your camera and witness the art of Allah(swt) showing you to be amazed by.
btw, i don't smoke..the picture a few posts later was taken at somebody else's house..:).

I saved my photos in Imgur. Some are intended to be posted in IB. However, when I tried to take my photos to be posted I always failed to login there because "Imgur is over capacity".
Any recommendation for other sites to save photos?.

Well i was born there, but no longer live there. This is a place very near this...
"And say, 'My Lord, let me land at a
blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us].' " Qur'an 23:29
"And it was said, "O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain]." And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished, and the ship came to rest on the

I was there during holiday and visiting family. Kurdish origin.

That's the problem. i myself don't know, but i always keep alert on certain things. For example, a couple of years ago dropbox gave the ability to do some things and because of those things you could get more storage. Or box.com gave away 50 gb for free to people signing up within x amount of time. Or another website because they were new they gave 1 TB away for free. So what does a Simple_Person like me do..FREE..FREE stuff.. SIGNUP :Emoji7:. That is why these photos you see through box.com. I have that account maybe for like 3-4 years i believe. Never really used it..so finally found something useful for it hahaha.

A blessed place indeed, but as a Muslim it breaks my heart to see how people treat it. If you look closely this is a riverbed and it is filled with junk. I picked up junk to throw it in a bin, people will laugh at you or say..leave it. If we throw away a banana peel or remaining of fruits/vegetables, that is good for the environment as it is fertilizing it, however plastic isn't. That you'll see everywhere :(.

I often think that maybe this is made for the believers to witness each time as they surely will witness this beautiful creation to witness and appreciate. People pay money to go to a gallery where you see some paintings that you could say a child messed up his food and that was the outcome. But seeing the creation of Allah(swt) showing people being up at that time to witness it..sub'han'Allah and no day it is the same, as the clouds are not shaped the same or a bit to the left or a bit to the right or no clouds at all. Or even sunset when you would walk to the masjid and not being preoccupied with other things, you will see the sunset.
When seeing such things, you have something finally to compare with. What you see in art galleries is a joke compared to what Allah(swt) is showing us. The immense colors and the shade and slowly turning in to another color. SUB'HAN'ALLAH.

I have always loved to see sunrises. It´s like the light wins the battle against the darkness and it puts me to think that it´s same what happens in our lives too when the good wins the bad or the Islam wins the ignorance.
But I love the sunsets too - because of their marvelous colors.

Insects aren't 'huggable' in any way, shape or form.
But I'm okay with wasps - as long as they don't come close :D. It's just I don't like spiders, I don't like spiders at all and whenever I walk into a spider web by accident is haunts me for days.

I absolutely refuse to step into a room where a spider is. So my father has to gently pick up the spider and carry it outside (I also insist no-one is allowed to hoover it up or squish it, lol).
But a flamethrower.....not a bad idea....

I did an astro shot with the Tokina 11-16mm DX2 lens over a year ago which was nice. Went outside of London for that, because of the light pollution. Was trying to locate the photo but, uh, no luck :(
I've also got my eyes set on the Canon 80D. In sha Allah.

wa alakum salaam wa rahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, dear bro Abd'al Hakeem.
I have to admit, I spent a lot of time on youtube checking reviews of it, and for video this is a good little machine (80D) and not exactly a slouch when it comes to photography either. Although APS-C, I don't see that as necessarily a bad thing with some lenses like the Tokina 11-16 which shows visibly less vinietting than the full frame does with the same lens.
(DSLR Hut had it down for £700 odd which is cheaper than I seen it anywhere else by miles, hoping by August the price drops a little more in sha Allah)
Also, the options with lenses are larger, EF and EF-s which is kinda cool considering the new gen of cheapo canon glass isn't shoddy.
Having said all this, it all adds up eventually. I'm pleased I got the less expensive bits out of the way first, like mics, tripods lights and reflectors and stuff etc. At least now I don't have to worry about all that "other stuff" :D
in sha Allah by August I would be able to afford the Canon 80D. I'd really love to go travelling with it in sha Allah.
You need a camera bro, you're good at this stuff, and have a great eye for it.

A friends dog (puppy) after having a fun time in a mud filled hole.
He cleaned up fine.
He is a good companion and an obedient animal.
I thought all creation was by GOD and for man.
I understand now that dogs are considered unclean to some here.
The picture definitely showed him very dirty.
