The phones cams are upto 3 megapixels aswell so they aint too bad
baaaji MS- how can you lose teh camera lol tut tut
I plow through batteries myself, but I've become quite a "shutter-bug" since I got mine (which was only a hundred and fifty bucks), so I just accept it and keep lots of spares handy.
I have a new one taken at Rock Harbor in Orleans. I call it "Seagull Sobriety Test" because the seagull looks like it's peeved about being asked to walk a straight line. Sorry. My twisted sense of humor.

That was not a tornado. The last 2 pictures were how hard the rain was coming down. It caught us a couple of seconds after the last pic. and it was as dark as midnight in the rain. The pics were between 11 am and 12 noon. We were about 100 miles from Dallas.

Just a general note of interest that is where mount judi is
Mount Judi, (جودي) according to the Qur'an, (surah 11:44),
وَقِيلَ يَا أَرْضُ ابْلَعِي مَاءكِ وَيَا سَمَاء أَقْلِعِي وَغِيضَ الْمَاء وَقُضِيَ الأَمْرُ وَاسْتَوَتْ عَلَى الْجُودِيِّ وَقِيلَ بُعْداً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ {
44}
[Pickthal 11:44] And it was said: O earth! Swallow thy water and, O sky! be cleared of clouds! And the water was made to subside. And the commandment was fulfilled. And it (the ship) came to rest upon (the mount) Al-Judi and it was said: A far removal for wrongdoing folk!
is the resting place of the Noah's Ark built by the Prophet Noah at God's command. Mount Judi is traditionally believed to be situated to the north-east of the Jazirat of Ibn 'Umar in south-east of Turkey close to the Iraqi and Syrian borders. The name Judi comes from Guti[citation needed], an Assyrianized form of the modern name of Kurds.
which by the way was noted in one of marco polo's travels... So while they are scouring else where... that is where it is...
Sobhan Allah

As for living, I hope I dont live her when I have kids if I do, although I love it here, it's been getting worse for a while, kids are going crazy.
I have heard there are like muslim predominant areas like east london, but I have never visited insha'Allah soon, there is one area near me, Tooting, which to me is OVER MUSLIM populated but although you see alot of people wearing hijab and so on, its still alot of fitnah, like wearing see through or wearin a scarf and tight or make up and so on.
But Alhamdulillah.

Anyone want this book? There's a couple of copies for those in south london;
And now, I present to you, Masjid Ibn Taimiyah, these are abit bent, I really feel akward taking pics;
This is the humble door;
This is so nice, didnt get to take the pic from the other side cos there was some brothers there, this is the upstairs where the lessons and prayer happens;
This is the garden area, where they are planning to build the extension, before it was all dug up, me and shaykh Muhammad burnt a whole heap of old Qu'rans which had pages and stuff missing, I was so excited;
This is a pic from the site, but I aint never seen it like that, must be before I ever been there:

Southern California has nearly the same climate as Texas. In fact Southern Texas is considered tropical. Northern California has nearly identical climate to the UK, possibly a little colder as it is not warmed by the Gulf Stream in the winter.
The ice storm in that picture is actual typical for much of the US in the winter. The Northern states have very severe winters, You may have seen the thread here about Niagra Falls in New York being frozen solid.

but i thought photography of living souls was prohibited?
mmmmmmm
There is a difference of opinion on photography among the scholars. All agree on the haraamness of drawing, picture making, portraits and what not, but when it come so to photography (compared to hand drawing) there is difference of opinion. Most salafi deem it haraam unles sin special cases like passport photo, criminal mug shot, etc.
In either case, I think we should limit our photograpy to non animate objects only inshallah. As for the power ranger, he has a mask on so no facial features are drawn on it, so its ok :thumbs_up

that's pretty good, phone quality and street quality. Guess not all of UK is like pakistan with litter all over the streets as i've heard.

London's not that dirty, but places where it is dirty they're dirty to the extreme, such as few of the corrupt areas with ugly griffiti, drink bottles etc etc, but majority of the streets are very clean, alhamdulilah.

i think every city has its clean clean, moderately clear, unclean or thuggified areas... like, in London... parts ov east london are bit too much on the dirty side but west and south are quite clean..
islamirama.. ur state must be very unique.. obviously, London is pretty backward compared to US.. so the opinions u've received are just opinions but alhumdullilah.. it is alot cleaner than pakistan.. our car journeys are not like a rollercoaster ride..
salamaleykum..
p.s. muslim ways, which part of valentine's park was that.. cudnt recognise it.. hmm..

Walykumasalaam,
It's near the lake, basically end of the lake, before the cafe area... unfortunately that was the only day I saw the leafs as yellow, so next time you look it might not look the same.
Kittygyal, your rickshaws not on the pic!
