Books by the 4 Imams or any great scholars of the past?

Asalamwalykum.

I am really interested in learning Islamic Kowledege, i was wondering aer there any books in english wirtten by these great scholars which i can start studying from, it would be great help if someone can tell me. ( inshallah i will go to medina one dayto study) make dua for me.
