9/11 is the date of attack on World Trade Center = 11 September 2001
7/7 is the date of London bombing= 7 July 2005

9/11 is in reference to the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York City and the Pentagon, and 7/7 is in reference to the July 7, 2005 attacks on the transportation system...I think the subways?
