I'm not a Muslim, so I don't need to worry about it. But I couldn't imagine not being able to have a nice rack of baby-back ribs and a bottle of beer. Ahhh, the simple pleasures !

I used to love Wagon Wheels lol. Must've ate a few hundred before finding out they're haraam. Must've also eaten a few hundred packets of Walkers Cheese & Onion crisps before finding out they're haram too. I even phoned Walkers and told them that a lot of muslims/vegetarians had to stop eating them so couldn't they make them suitable for us.

They said they'd look into it and sure enough a year later they made then 'suitable for vegetarians'. So you can thank me for that. :giggling:

I foresee the closure of this thread soon. It's like talking about the Haram things we miss out doing. Why not talk about Halal favorite food or halal foreign food we'd like to try out? More productive that way. Halal guaranteed!

Yeps walkers cheese &onion are suitable for vegetarian now they remoed the anilam rennet!!

Also animal rennet is allowed for hanafi madhab!!
This is how they see it.That the place where the renet from a cow gets dirived doesnt enter blood in the first place!!
So its JAAIZ!!

And allah knows best!

Brothers, I really don't get the idea behind this thread, its hard enough to leave desires behind without having to talk about what we used to love and do love and so forth.

Why couldnt you make a thraed 'Favouratie halal meal' or something.

And I have heard ribena is haram too.

M&Ms Peanut Halaal * (alcoholic flavourings)
M&Ms Chocolate Halaal * (alcoholic flavourings)
M&Ms Crispy Halaal * (alcoholic flavourings)

And for the halal which have one star the key says

Key:
* These products contain calf whey syrup or cheese. Please refer to fatwa on this link:
http://www.gmwa.org.uk/foodguide2/vi...atID=1&compID=

Go to it, i cant see nothing.

There are halal marshmallows available. They use gelatine derived from halal beef. I love 'em. Marshmallows I mean, though cows taste nice too.
