Assalam-u alaikum,
I'd like to enter brothers' room but unfortunately I can't. How can I manage it? Can you help me?

Reach 100 posts and then you can apply. Once you apply, your application will be considered.

:sl:

The rule is necessary to provide some way of verifying whether a person is a brother or a sister. Btw, I don't think you can see how many people post there if you are not a member there.

It's not as hard as it sounds anyway!

Try applying again Insha'Allaah. At the moment, it does not show that you have applied for access.

Your application would not have been approved. You need to reach 100 posts first.

Remember, having 100 posts does not guarantee you'll be approved access to the gender rooms. It is simply a means of us judging whether you should or should not be let in. :)

I said the rule provides some way, not that it is a 100% foolproof method. Surely it is better to ask someone to stay and display some kind of character that helps us make a more informed decision about them, rather than granting access to absolutely anyone that asks? Anyhow, there is always the risk, and as Moderators we do what we think is the safest thing for all.

The rule is good.. Tasmiyah, would you like it, if bro's could easily get access to our section, by just applying when they sign up.. :heated: No thanks..

There are many rules on this forum - but it is also the best organized forum on the net.. Just my opinion.. :D

You'll try me. Surely, when you abide me, you will let me. I understand you, sisters. There may be manl ill-purposed men amongst the muslims.

Is the brother's room just for brothers in Islam, or can any brother apply?

It is just for Muslims. I know that sounds biased, but remember this is an Islamic forum and parts of it need to be free for discussions among Muslims only.

I do not know all the reason's the Admins made it that way. But to me that seems to be the best way to keep it from breaking down into arguements over religion.

No problem.

After all, we Christians have our secret handshake and code word by which we can recognize one another all over the world. (Oh, and I got some swamp land in Florida for sale too. :okay: )

Really, it's doesn't bother me. I was just asking.

Can non muslim women apply for access in the bro forum:? Only in specific threads, not in every threads off course :-[

Greetings,

No, they can only apply in the 'mixed female section'. I don't think it's possible to view only some threads and not all in a section.

It is not good for muslim brothers to speak to foreign girls alone. Do you understand me?

First of all i didn't want to speak in the bro's room. Only to read their comments made on women subject. That was all. Men talk.
Second i found out their topic is not soo funny how i thought it is and i give up at my subscription. I don't want anymore to read the threads.

At request from non-Muslim women who wanted to be able to discuss topics with Muslims sisters, which may not be permitted in the general section, the mods set up a 'mixed-female-section', which can be accessed by Muslimahs and non-Muslims women. It is still separate from the rest of the sister's section, but it gives us a private space to have 'female' discussions.

Perhaps something similar can be set up for the men.

peace

Us men have much more important things than women to talk about.

Haven't you ever heard of Football and fishing?

What about to discuss how much should spend a husband on his wife needs and whats really important for the house. Sample: a new laptop for the husband or the wife to have the basics needs solved (like something which should keep the order in her room).
