As a rule in Fiqh matters, everything is Halal until proven Haram, whereas in matters of Worship everything is Haram until proven Halal. Therefore, nasheeds are permissible in their enirety, but since Music is Haram, nasheeds with music becomes impermissible. Likewise, women singing is impermissible for men to hear, therefore nasheeds have to be sung by men. You can read the ruling on Nasheeds here:

As Salaamu Alaykum,
-"And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allaah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allaah, the Verses of the Qur'aan) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire)." [Surah Luqman (Prophet Luqman) Verse 6]
