Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters,

Sometimes during work, its not possible for me to do prayers at appropriate times. Thus, i reach home late at night only having done Fajr. Sometimes i am really worn out and lazy to pray. But, i am afraid if i dont pray, Allah (swt) shall punish me and that keeps me going.

Is it right to practise Islam on fear?..i feel its not right that i think that way at times.

I hope your replies would enlighten me.

:sl: dear brother u have imaan insha'Allah for fear and hope are both part of iman. fear helps to stay from deeds that brings anger of Allah and hope takes you near to deeds that is beloved to Allah Taala.
so both are perfectly good thing and has its importance in our life.
