:salamext:

Is there any chance to make one section ( like the Sisters n Brothers section)for those who want to talk in inappropriate topics openly, private topics, etc, bcz I don't feel comfortable with these types of discussions publicly, so whoever wants to go to this section they can go.

Please seperate these topics from the other topics, as some people do not like to see these kinds of topics in the public. So any private topics you want to talk about, you can talk about them in the seperate section.

I will appreciate this a lot.

Jazaak ALLAH khair.

Anything that shouldn't go on the public forum, should more than likely go into either of the gender rooms.

Sometimes I see some topics which are not should to be discussed publicly. Not everyone wants to see them, so the people who seek them should do so privately.
Today, I saw a topic in the Sister section which was openly discussed in a general section. Then it got moved to the Sister's section, so I thought that I should say what I've been thinking for a while about moving these topics to a different section.
I don't know, but I feel that they should be put in a different section.

I think what you're saying that the topic was originally posted in the public forums, and was later moved to the private room. So what is the problem? There should be another sub-section within the private room for sensitive questions, or...?

If thats what you mean, another sub-section within the gender rooms, I'm not really keen on it. If you're part of the gender room, then there will be a few of those topics, so theres no reason to really create another section for a few topics...

Sister, first of all I am not asking you anything, no offense.@};-
I was addressing my questions to the admins. If the admins choose otherwise, it's fine with me.

What I mean is that sometimes, some topics are not supposed to be discussed openly, if anybody wants to read or discuss them, then they should privately discuss them, not in front of everybody. So, for example, our gender rooms do not show up to anyone else. So there should be a similar section for private topics, where whoever wants to discuss these topics can go.

I hope you understand what I am saying. If it doesn't work out, you can close the thread. I don't want to discuss this further. :)

there are no innapropriate or private topics in islaam , when u read the quran ,bukhari, muslim all these topics are opened whether to become an aalim or an aalimah
some people feel uneasy to ask some question though Aishah Radwi allahu anhaa spoke of all topics where she was questioned
if u still seem uneasy u may find website where u can ask these question thru your personal email
sorry if i offended i did not mean to do that

I think that alot of these posts are from people who don't have access to the private rooms. You know limited members and such. Well what if there were a certain place for those who don't have access to the private room to post such questions?
Is this what you mean sis Khayal?

Even if they are posted which I think the mods are on top of anyway, just stay away from them until they are moved to the right section by the mods.

Because we are at separate sections (hope sis will not get upset) but i take the opportunity and ask if we could have a folder for the animal thread in the general chat section and inside of the folder to have one thread for each animal (like cats, dogs, parrots, fish and so on)

Brother first of all I did not ask any of you to answer,I don't have any questions to ask, and wow!! I am very surprised to hear that there is nothing private in islam. I saw lots of topics here, which shouldn't be discussed publicly. As far as I know there should be some limits to discussing private topics. islam doesn't teach us to talk about every thing openly in public.
Here as far as I know most of the members are under 18, does Islam teach us to discuss everything in front of kids? I am not saying every topic but sometimes some topics need to be discussed in private.
naaahhh, I am not offended.. It just gets me wondering about how many people know about modesty in Islam.

Sort of. What I did mean is that there are some sisters and brothers who discuss topics in front of everyone that noone wants to hear. The section should be for such topics so that those who want to discuss them can go.

Sister, we are glad that you are voicing your opinions and giving us suggestions for the improvement of this forum.

However, there is no need to be rude to anyone else when they are merely saying what they think or trying to help you.

The Admins will be notified of this request Insha'Allah. Please remember:
Honourable and dignified behaviour must be observed at all times, especially when replying to a post by a member of the opposite gender.
