hope everyone is in the best health of iman inshallah :), well brother Abdullah... thought of this idea so i was so please with his wonderful idea so went along with it
basically am sure you all got the point of what this thread is about because basically it says it in the 'title' but maybe i should tell anyway so this thread is about brother Qari-Basit Aka his beloved sons subhnallah!. I am a very big fan of Qari-Basit && when i first newly converted to Islam my friend gived me Qari-Basits reciations i was soo amazed and now subhanallah as i am doing Aalimah course && understanding my deen more better && the Qura'an in english aswel subahnallah when ever i hear Qari-Basits voice i always get this touch of feeling where i sit down && cry it just happens to me.
inshallah when i have time i will post some of his reciations along with his sons inshallah, even though Qari-basit has passed away along time ago subhnallah we have now his sons whom are a double role of him also brother ironbeard has met one of his sons :muddlehea

it's a Must for everyone to listen to this beloved akhi && his beloved sons mashallah the way the recite is double role like his papa alhamdulillah, may allah subahwnatallah take them to Janah along with the Ummah inshallah.

anywho for now i will leave you all with this wonderful reciation of Qari-Basits two sons, if have to peeps open english translation of Qura'an subhanllah then you will really get the touch mahsallah all of Basit co's reciations are just so solid!

p.s people am really dying for Qari-Basits recitation along with english translation i have seen it either on brother ironbeards youtube or somewhere allah hu alim, but i wana see it again please please if anyone does have it please please for the sake of allah suabhwnatallah share it with us inshallah will be nice for me && brother Jezze :D

For those who don't know the esteemed sheikh:-

Sheikh 'Abdul-Bâsit 'Abdus-Samad was born in 1927 and died in 1988. He came to Cairo from the city of Armant in Upper Egypt in 1950, having established his reputation in the south. He was the first reciter in his family, but his grandfather was a religious scholar of al-Azhar training. Sheikh 'Abdul-Bâsit is probably the best-known of Egyptian reciters outside of Egypt, as he was the first to make commercial recordings of his recitation, and he has travelled extensively outside of Egypt. Sheikh 'Abdul-Bâsit is one of the four top-ranking reciters in Egypt. He was the first president of the newly formed Reciters' Union. Sheikh 'Abdul-Bâsit is admired for breath control and his high-pitched, clear voice.

ya allah, your a star akhi mashallah shukran. even though me seen surah Dua'ah, am listning to sura'an Ta'ariq && will listn to surah Balad soon even though i have these but without english traslation but khair i was hunting for english translation :). Once again a big shukran akhi
