HERO DOG SAVES LIFE
A REAL-LIFE Lassie saved her owner when she collapsed unconscious while washing her hair.
Rescued mongrel Alea scurried off to pull Maria Ardley's husband, Steve, away from the television.
She led him to the closed bathroom door and ran round in circles and Steve then found Maria slumped on the floor.
Maria, from Lowestoft, Suffolk, was taken to hospital to have surgery for a ruptured blood vessel in the brain.
Steve, 53, said: "If Alea hadn't alerted me, my wife would have died. Maria wants the world to know her dog is a little hero."
