Not my words, but the words of a brother who knows alot about this stuff. I like his recitations too and I don't think many people alive have been blessed with a beautiful voice like his, but at times he style of recitation has been noted as controversial. There was something posted about it on qquran.com forums, but the english section is down, you can try search on the arabic forum though.
