as salamualaikoom ,
i have been married to my wife who was christian and converted to islam last year ,we just had our first son who is muslim of course
my problem is :since my wife is very attached to her family ,one of her nieces is going to have communion at a church ...and i asked me if i want to go .she says that it is family and we should support her.. my question is : should i go to attend that event ? or is it haram or makrooh ?
thank you brothers and sisters

Wa Alaykum Salam Brother,

As far as i know you and your wife (who is now muslim) cannot attend. Its seen as supporting the way of Jaahaliya.

Please check out this link for a similiar issue. http://www.islam-qa.com/index.php?re...nding%20church

InshaAllah that helps you brother
