I thought I was safe in every home I been in, but every time I settle, the repo man come a claiming

The pains done made me crazy, tears make my vision hazy
Lord, how’s Mamma supposed to raise us right, when everyday’s a fight?

Single mother just trying to find her way, hustling, struggling, everyday
I’m trying Lord, guess I got to try harder, but how am I supposed to find my way without a father
Most of my life grew up on wrong side of the tracks, see me praying Lord, see me praying, see me changing Lord, see me changing
Life ain’t easy Lord and to you we complain, hold me Lord, Satan’s making me insane
Why so much misery Lord, please explain, friends come and go but haters stay
Got to find it in my heart to pray, sister’s situation getting worse, can’t talk to anyone, can’t leave the house, Lord promise me Jannah for her, promise me Lord
Temptation’s making me blind so I can’t see
Trying to hold onto you Lord but I keep slipping, taking steps towards you Lord but I keep tripping
Feels like I’m about to lose my soul, give me hope Lord, give me some hope
Swing low sweet chariot to carry me home, got a little dough POOF, it’s gone
I know nothing but cold Lord, tell me what am I supposed to do, Lord you gave me my name don’t forget
Got to get life right first time no second chances, and when the reaper comes no time for second glances, why’s trouble everywhere I go
When it’s my turn to get some dough, I don’t want much Lord, just enough to survive
Save my life Lord, save my life, the only gift I got is my voice, I’ma use it for Mamma, so no more tears can harm her, lift her feet and I might get into Jannah
I love you Mamma, don’t know where I’d be without you, no one could ever love me like you do
Lord I’m losing my way, smoking, doping, choking, I don’t know how Mamma’s still coping
My eyes are so choked up I just can’t see clarity, Lord I need your charity, blanket me in your sanctuary
Going through these challenges I need your sanctuary, going through these struggles I need your sanctuary. Lord I pray for your sanctuary, Lord give me your sanctuary… sanctuary… sanctuary…sanctuary, Lord I pray.
