The first polar bear to be born in the Berlin zoo in 30 years.
He caused some controversy because he was rejected by his mother and has been reared by human beings.

He's cute now, but if he becomes a dangerous adult then humans will have to employ... desperate measures.

Yes, an animal rights group said Knut would be better off dead than to be raised by humans. Looking at the picture it makes you wonder about how much they actually care about the animals they are supposed to be defending.

I'm sure it's just another toy. Or perhaps a brush bristly enough to brush a baby polar bear.
And I'm sure it has never been used as an actual toilet brush ... at least I hope so. +o(
