Hello Everybody,

I am new to this site and I don't even know if I am in the right forum, but anyways, I am hoping that you people can help me answer a few questions that I have regarding Islam. Right now I am in a phase where I want to learn a lot more about my religion and I have a ton of questions to ask and hoping that they are answered.

1. How does Islam defend itself again people who believe in the theory of evolution (Darwinism)? There is without a doubt some logical evidence that supports this theory but I want to know what Islam has to say about it and if there is strong evidence that dissproves this theory.

2. What was the point of prehistoric animals like the dinosaur and other living animals?

3. Is there any reason for other planets and solar systems that have no human use or inability to even reach by rocket besides discovering what's outside our Earth?

That will be all the questions for now brothers and sisters. It would mean a lot if you took the time to answer these questions for me.

Salam Aleykom

Inshaa Allaah you can view the refutation to the evolution from here:

http://allaahuakbar.net/ATHEIST/evolution/

And about the other planets, Allaah knows best but there may be life there which we don't know of. So even if we don't reach there, it may also be a test for them. And Allaah knows best.

Thank you for the input Sabilillah. I actually have been on that exact site about evolution but my only concern about that particular website is how credible some of the information because they may be biased in what they say or there may exaggerate or twist the information. I doubt that they did that but I would just like confirmation to make sure that all the information is exactly what people who believe in evolution think.

There was a documentary called something like 'The Trouble with Athiesm' or replace trouble with Problem.

Worth a watch in my honest opinion.

I think they do believe in it, and i've heard many of them arguments from them myself. Yet they have no solid proof, so they depend on 'faith' also, except we are more certain, and the praise is for Allaah due to that.

Just check it again and read over all the slides, insha Allaah you'll find it beneficial. I don't feel its biased, unless we were to say that there is a neutral discussion, and i'm sure both sides will lean towards their own side abit more than the other since they prefer their beliefs over the others.

Alhamdulillah there are alot of images and statements there which actually show the falsehood of the theory though, and how some evolutionists actually tried to twist some aspects and make false drawings etc. to trick the people who never knew much about it.

So i feel it is more accurate for us, than from reading it from a 'pro-evolutionist' source. And Allaah knows best.
