Peregrine - World’s fastest bird
Doppler radar say most birds cruise along at somewhere between 30 and 50 kilometers an hour – that’s between 20 and 30 miles an hour. But ducks and other waterfowl often fly twice as fast. So do racing pigeons. A headwind or tailwind will change a bird’s speed. Also, birds fly faster when they’re chasing prey or escaping a predator. Studies have clocked an Indian bird, the spine-tailed swift, at over 160 kilometers – or about 100 miles – an hour.
But so far, there’s been no record of a bird whose flying speed can match that of a peregrine falcon in a dive. The peregrine falcon is generally cited as the world’s fastest bird. When it’s diving to catch its prey, it exceeds speeds of
320 kmph – about 200 miles – per hour.

The King Cobra
The King Cobra snake is the largest venomous snake in the world!
The king Cobra natural habitat stretches from India eastward to Vietnam, southern China, and the Philippines, and southeast through Malaysia and Indonesia. Yet throughout its vast range the king cobra is not common anywhere, and in India it has become rare from habitat loss.
Size: Length: average 4m. Record 5.58m.
Life-span: About 20 years
Food: Snakes and lizards.
King cobra venom is very toxic. A single bite can kill an Indian elephant in three hours, provided a vulnerable spot is bitten. The fangs of the king cobra are around 15mm long, but can deliver more venom than any other snake except the gaboon viper. When threatened, the king cobra can raise itself up to one third of its length - in some cases this is taller than a man. It is also able to flatten the ribs of its neck into an intimidating hood to make itself appear larger. However, the king cobra is not an aggressive snake, and is much more likely to glide away than to attack.
Below :
Mr. Krishna Ghule(India) handled a "King Cobra ".
He is Master in Snake Handling.
King Cobra of Wt - 16 Kg, length - 12' - 3", Seized in Goa .

Rumour has it that, according to NASA, the Chapada is Earth's brightest point as seen from space. Lying on a quartz crystal bed, it's said to reflect light like a mirror. The park is located on an ancient plateau with an estimated age of 1.8 billion years.

Mount Kinabalu, the highest peak in Malaysia.
4,095.2 m (13,435 ft)
The main peak of the mountain can be climbed by a person with a good physical condition, and requires no mountaineering equipment. Other peaks along the massif, however, require rock climbing skills. The mountain features a large variety of flora, including wild pitcher plants and orchids.

Beautiful Neelum Valley, Pakistan (All pics & quotes below By:Heartkins @ Flickr)
This is the scene of the village halmet located in Neelum Valley Pakistan.neelum valley is definitely the hidden pearl of Pakistan and a jewel of Himalayan valley no other valley in Kashmir and Himalayas can compare this valley and even most of Pakistanis know little about it and have little visited there.Ths traditional culture and traditional building style of Kashmiri houses mixed with spectular scenery can be found only in Neelum valley. Here there are ever green forests of pine, fir and other faunas are abundant in the valley.
Yes if i say this lake as a crown it would not be wrong.Located high above the Neelum Valley this fascinating lake is located at a high ground at 13,500 ft approximately. The region is remoteless and its surroundings are calm and peaceful. This lake is located in Neelum Valley,Ajk(Azad Jammu & Kashmir) Pakistan. The name of lake is "Chitta Katha"

Beautiful yet dangerous Mayon Volcano in Albay Province
Map of the Philippines showing Mayon in Albay Province
Its almost perfectly-shaped symmetric cone was formed through alternate pyroclastic and lava flows. Mayon is the most active volcano in the country, having erupted over 47 times in the past 400 years.[citation needed] It is located between the Eurasian and the Philippine Plate, at a convergent plate boundary: where a continental plate meets an oceanic plate, the lighter continental plate overrides the oceanic plate, forcing it down; magma is formed where the rock melts. Like other volcanoes located around the rim of the Pacific Ocean, Mayon is a part of the "Pacific Ring of Fire".
Wonderful Chocolate Hills in Bohol Province
Map of the Philippines showing Chocolate Hills in Bohol Province
The Chocolate Hills is an unusual geological formation in Bohol, Philippines. It is composed of around 1,268 perfectly cone-shaped hills of about the same size, spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometers. They are covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season, hence the name.
Ross Ice Shelf, Antarctica.

The Ross Ice Shelf - about the size of Spain - is the largest ice shelf of Antarctica. The nearly vertical ice front to the open sea is more than 600 km long, and between 15 and 50 meters high above the water surface. 90 percent of the floating ice, however, is below the water surface. Most of Ross Ice Shelf is located within the Ross Dependency claimed by New Zealand.
The Ross Dependency comprises an area of Antarctica claimed by New Zealand.

Mount Pinatubo Crater Lake, Zambales Province
Map of the Philippines showing Zambales province
Mount Pinatubo is a volcano in Zambales province, Philippines. Located about 55 mi (90 km) northwest of Manila, it erupted catastrophically in June 1991 after 600 years of dormancy, killing hundreds of people and burying hundreds of square miles under volcanic ash.The eruption was one of the largest of the 20th century.
Adding beauty to its interior, Batanes has small flat areas spread sporadically on its coasts with intermittent stretches of sandy beaches and rocky shorelines.

Calauit Island Game Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary
Calauit one of the islands in Coron, north of Palawn Province.
The second set of Coron photos I posted, Calauit is a 3,700 hectare home for grazing giraffes, zebras, about half-dozen of antelope species and other exotic creatures roaming freely on their own island preserve. This is a sparsely occupied island within an hour's flight from Manila but a world away from the paths and byways of civilization.

the highest among the limestone hills of the Mantalongon Range in the town of Dalaguete in the island of Cebu, it is also reputed to be the island's highest point. From the summit, one is rewarded by views of nearby Negros Island and the much smaller resort-island of Badian.

Tubbataha Reef
Tubbataha Reef is a marine sanctuary protected as Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park located in the Sulu Sea. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it has become a popular site for seasoned sports divers because of its coral “walls” where the shallow coral reef abruptly ends giving way to great depths. The seemingly diverse ecosystem of this sanctuary rivals the Great Barrier Reef and many are already endangered species.
Tubbataha is home to giant jacks, hammerhead sharks, barracudas, manta rays, palm-sized moorish idols, parrot fish, moral eels, clownfish, lionfish and hawksbill sea turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata) which are endangered species.
Aside from being a marine sanctuary, Tubbataha is also renowned for being a bird sanctuary. A lighthouse islet, at the southern tip of the South Atoll, supports a large number of seabirds which nest there. Around the Tubbataha, there are tens of thousands of masked red-foot boobies, terns, and frigate birds resting during their annual migrations.

I love the mountain pics with the lake at the bottom. I wish I could be there having a picnic. Khair one thing always springs to mind when I see Allah's beautiful creations in the duniya, that if the duniya is so beautiful then how will Jannah be like. It's unimaginable for us. May Allah grant us the beautiful eternal abode of unimaginable beauty in the hereafter. Ameen.
