What do you guy's think of the new 2012 olympics logo. lots of people Have complained and have been saying It looks like a child has drawn it and I could have drawn it myself and so on. Now the official video of the logo has been taken off because people with epilepsy have had fits after watching it, and guess what The person who designed the logo took a whole year to design it and he/she was paid a massive £400,000. When I found out I scratched my head and thought my little sister could have designed this within 10 minutes for £2.50. Why on earth did they ask some idiot to design it. Any way enough about what I think, what do you guys think, Is the logo iconic or awful?

Shalom (Peace), It is... interesting. Not exactly my taste, but it is not terrible.
 
i find it absolutely ridiculous it dsnt even provide/illustrate that it is taking place in London...or something that signifies its part of London......

it seems very basic...weird logo...meaningless.....i think more effort needs to be put on it.....

certainly seems like a childish art maan.....to me it seems like....puzzles pieces that needs gathering......lol....

additionally the puzzles pieces represent no connection to each other...seems like communities in London are not together about this olympic decision....

It's like a broken Rubik's cube.

Though I do kind of like the fractal quality. On the other hand, the shape of those fractals are ugly as heck.

It reminds me of this Japanese puzzle where you have to form shapes out of these black triangle and square pieces. (Don't remember teh name)
Lets have a contest of who can make the most interesting shape with those pieces :)
 
It looks gay. The logo should be in the colours of the union jack. I could have designed a better logo myself. The people that designed this was paid £4,000? Pfffft.
 
Cant believe they got ripped off 400,000 quid for that. Any 10-year old can come up with that design....

First they spent 800m on wembley, when one could have easily built that for half of the price, now they go on splash crazy money for nothing.

i agree the colours are weird man......colours shud represent multiculturalism....
 
As long as its not the tax-payers money....I think it looks okish....

Um... I'm sure it will be taxpayers money. Where else would they get the funds?
