Been discussed enough times blud. Whatever Allah subhwnatallah says then it is end off.

That link appears broken.
in short most arguements seem to be that music is haaram as it detracts the mind from Allah.
Other arguements are it opens the mind to shytan & encorages unislamic thoughts like promiscuity.

Other arguements say that it's only wind and string instruments, so 1980's Electro-pop would be OK? Actually Depeche Mode rawk bells big time.

im kaffir, but i've read enough threads on thi to be able to repeat the arguements.

My own thoughts are that the creator built us with a innate ability to appreciate music.

peace.

Salamualikum.
Yes it does work.

ok

my freinds say music is harram because it makes to do things u shouldnt like say a rap song it makes your thinking like a crook but i dont do that so i dont know

well, If you do choose to listen to music, then I'd say certainly dont listen to Rap or gansta. It's all utter dross.

I like gothic and Indi. lots of meaningful lyrics and emo-fun.

This thread should be closed.

I feel sorry for those who aren't allowed to appreciate the musical artform. It is huge part of the human experience, and in my opinion the world would be a very dull and colorless place without it.

I feel sorry for the one who can't appreciate the beauty and eloquence of the Qur'an:
