Unknown Future
In the Quran Surah 31 verse 34 Allah reminds us: "No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow and no soul know in what land it will die. Truly Allah is the Knower, the Aware."
Nobody knows when they'll die
and if they will live to see another day.
I must be wise. in the choices that I make,
And remembering Allah, when the Angle comes my way.
He was on his way home, from a football game
He was overjoyed cause his team had beat the rest
He was with some friends, and they had a red corvette.
They said were gonna get some food, so why not come with us.
So they went to McD's, but then they went to get a drink
They were under 21, so they gave a false ID,
Of course he did deny, his friends didn't even try,
They knew he's a Muslim guy, so he sat and let them be.
On the way home, with music blasting high,
And all of his friends, they were laughing time away.
It then began to rain, to there it was the same.
There team had won the game, it was a special day.
Suddenly they slid, the car began to skid
The driver lost control, and hit a blue accord,
The brother lost his life, with those who disbelieve.
And the last thing from his lips, was a four letter word.
It's the unknown future, that Allah only knows,
When we will return to him, when will we go...
Nobody knows when they'll die
and if they will live to see another day
I must be wise, in the choices that I make,
and remembering Allah, when the angel comes my way.
She was on her way home, from a sisters halaqah,
It was just a group of friends, she was there to please Allah.
The first time she had gone, to a group like this one,
She had doubts inside her mind cause the football game was on.
But when she did arrive, her heart became alive,
She learned about Allah, and the beauty of Islam,
He learned from all her friends, the things she didn't know.
She learned things to help her grow, and build her Iman.
So on her way home, she put the music on,
She didn't feel right, so she put in some Qur'an
Inside her blue accord, she played Surah Yasin,
She felt the beauty of Quran, for the very first time,
Suddenly she slid, the car began to skid,
There was a red corvette, that slammed into her car.
The sister lost her life, but in a state of pure belief,
And the last thing from her lips was la illaha illallah
la illaha iliallah, la illaha iliallah.
