Was it one single person? If yes, then its not hajj but rather the last Ramdwaan. There were 4 qaris.

Actually a brother asked me to enquire into this. He told me to find out the names of the qari during hajj. If there was a single qari for the Eid-ul-Adha prayers then he must have been mistaken. So i rephrase my question.

Anyone knows who recited the qur'an during the tarawih prayers of last Ramadwaan?

The four imams who lead the taraweeh prayers in Masjid-ul-Haram last year were:

  • Sheikh Sa'oud ash-Shuraim
  • Sheikh Salaah al-Budair
  • Sheikh Abdur-Rahman as-Sudais
  • Sheikh Abdullah al-Juhany
