Firstly i would like to say aslaam-u-alaikum,

i am a 15 year old muslim boy and i have a question that has been haunting me for some time.

My grandfather lives with us, and my whole family is sure that he performs black magic (Jadoo).

I know this because i have been told and also, i have seen the effects. He has made my great grandmother crazy, and now has caused her death due to mental illness, and my great aunt as well is turning ill both mentally and physically.

I love them both very much, and now am worried.

If he can do these things to his sister and mother, noone would stop him from doing things to my mother.

I am confused as i should really respcect him because he is my grandfather, but he has done some terrible things.

He has seperated my family from pakistan and stopped them from talking or making contact with us, causing my mother much trauma.

He has forced my aunt to divorce, which i know is frowned upon greatly in islam.

He has divorced himself.

He refused to take his own father on hajj, even though he had the money and time.

He has cursed my 10 year old cousin, swearing at her, and this i cannnot accept.

I need help because i need to know if there is any way i can protect my family or cleanse the house from what this man does.

i would apprecate all help.

thankyou brothers and sisters.

Surat al-Falaq [113] (The Daybreak)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

1. Say: "I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak,

1) Jabir says that Falaq means morning. The Qur'an itself says (Cleaver of the daybreak) (6:96). Ibn 'Abbas says that Falaq means creation. Ka'b Al-Ahbar says that Falaq is a place in the Hell. When its gate is opened all the inmates of Hell cry out because of the intensity of its heat. Ibn Jarir and Imam Bukhari say that it means morning and this view seems reasonable. Allah directs believers to seek refuge in the Lord of the Falaq.

2. "From the evil of what He has created,

(2) And to seek refuge from the evil of what He created. His creation includes Hell, Iblis (Satan) and his offspring.

3. "And from the evil of the darkening as it comes with its darkness,

(3) One should seek refuge from the evil of nightfall. According to Ibn Zaid the Arabs called the setting of the star Pleiad as Ghasiq and believed that after its setting and at its rising, disease increases and spreads. Some commentators say that the word Ghasiq means moon. They base their argument on a Hadith that the Prophet a once held the hand of 'Aishah and pointing to the moon, said, "Seek refuge from the evil of this Ghasiq." (Imam Ahmad). However, the rising of the moon and the appearance of the stars are things that happen at night.

4. "And from the evil of those who practise witchcraft when they blow in the knots,

5. "And from the evil of the envier when he envies."

Better consult some psychologist for all of your family particularly for your grand father because you seem to be very superstitious.Just a humble opinion.

This is a great problem but nothing is beyond Allah Subhaanahu Wata'aala.
I think you should seek the help of you Imams and also be strong in the recitation of the Qur'an.

Assalamu Alaikum,

This looks like a serious matter, all I can advise you is to consult a scholar, try http://www.islam-qa.com/index.php?ln=eng , and search the topic magic in the site where you can learn more on the ruling on those you do magic.

And tell all your family members to recite ayatul Kursi (surah Baqarah verse 255) after each salah and before going to sleep.

Sword against black magic and evil magicians...

i suggest you invest in this book, it gives u a clear picture of sihr how it is done, its affects and how to cure it.

i do not know where you are based.
but forget imams u need a special ruqya healing imam that does exorcisms.

ayat al kursi, surah a kafiroon, surah ikhlas, falaq and al nas,
surah ar rahman, surah jinn, surah saffat, surah al baqarah and i cannot remember on top of my head now but there are some other surahs too. make sure that these are frequently recited in the house.

remember no harm can touch u or befall upon you unless Allah swt wills.
the best protection against such attacks are salah, so make sure u are steadfast in salah and so are your family members in the household,

when i once went through something similar in my life i overcame it with salah and dua, make dua to Allah swt and ask Him sincerely from your heart to protect you all against the evil of sihr.

when i was praying at that time i was adviced to recite the 4 quls with every rakah although it made my salah much longer Alhumdillilah i am protected now.

there are symptoms to sihr it is easy for some to have calamity befall them and point fingers at people that is wrong, you say ur grandmother died?
hmmmm i dunno if that would have anything to do with sihr cos death is something that is only decreed by Allah swt.

so make sure that it is very evident that it is sihr ( black magic).
if u live in the uk i can probably help you more so let me know IshaAllah.

Ma salama

First if all, thank you for your advice, it is much appreciated.

I am based in the uk, and will start to trace up on this book, as you advised.

Yes, ever since startng this thread i have began to recite ayat ul kursi more than all everywhere i go in the house, ouside, and when i need some calm, it really does help.

Well the sihr drove her suddenly insane, through no actual reason. I am trying to source the problem by talking to the elders of my family, and my great grandmother died peacefully, but she could not perform salah, read quran etc, although people did try to teach her.

I hink it is because my great grandmother was not really the mother of my grandfather, and he hated her. We have been to a peer, and he has said there is sihr by an elder in the family.

I will read this book then insha allah decide what to do next, but this sihr is affecting my father as well, which is really worrying me.

Thank you sister for all your help.
