Could I breathe again?

Do you remember? When you cried I would wipe away all of your tears :cry:
when you'd scream I would fight away all of your fears
I held your hand through all of these years
But u still don’t see

Now u know im not dreaming so why did u do it?
I don’t know u no more :-\
Tell me who’s that girl?
Where she from?

Walking down the street everybody’s gathered staring at the girl who never was and never will be.
Oh look here she comes out staring down at the crowd.
Making sure she has her crown. :?
Looking around to make sure she hasn’t seen the girl who knows.

Everybody cheer to show how we love you; throw flowers to show how we do.
Have u know shame don’t u see me. :enough!:

I know the truth now I know who u really are.
You don’t know how you betrayed me and now somehow you have got everybody fooled. :rollseyes

Perfect by nature
image of self indulgence
just what we all need
more lies about her.

Now tell me without the mask where will you hide
Can’t find yourself lost in your lie.

Along as you keep lies out of my reality
and when you're nice it's just a pose.

Do people really think that it’s right
Oh how you lied?:rollseyes

And it’s hard to face what is unknown
But you’re out of place and you don’t know
and be warned… its not gonna last for long and that’s for real.

May Allaah protect our beloved ones...and protect us from betrayal. Reminds me of this saying of Imaam ash-Shaafi’ee (RA)

lol yeah, sounds like the roles of a mother...I wouldn't be able to write like this if my life depended on it :giggling: not flattering, I'm just saying, poetry in general is a really tough aspect of english Allah chose not to give me talent in :D
