Look at a singl Arabic word giving you different meanings according to pronunciation

Have a look at the above table, it contains a single word but it has different meanings according to pronunciation .. well, the red characters you see are called "Tashkeel" which makes the pronunciation differers as you can see .. isn't that amazing? :)

However I do have a question Bro. It's gonna sound silly but, you know there's texts where there's no Tashkeel yeah? Say if them 3 letters were in a sentence where there's no Tashkeel within the sentence (as some texts I've seen are like that), then how would a person know which word is being used? Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question....

well, the only thing i can think of is for you to learn the grammar of Arabic.
you'd also have to understand the word in its context. and i also suggest for you to learn how to write. this way, it sort of gives you a different look t the language, i know that sound weird but you'll know inshallah when you do it yourself. (sorry, im really bad at explaining things). i remember when i started to learn, i just got someone to read out three lettered words. then i would write them. thins is assuming that you know the basics of arabic.

i can read the quran..but its hard for me to grasp the pronounciation and other rules...coz i dnt have enuf time to practice:-[

i know that is neglectant of me,...but i wasnt brought up reading quran like that..my younger brother is studying to be a hafeez...he reads beautiful...i ahve many ppl that i live with etc who read quran perfect, regardless of the fact that they dnt know arabic...so its actually my fault...

i have alot of ppl to assist me...thank u sister maryam...but, i think it will be hard over the net...and i barely have the time...u know how busy i am...:thankyou:

It doesn't sound like a stupid question at all :)
As maryam11 explained, it's all about grammar and context .. I've been writing and reading Arabic for about 18 years and I never needed to use Tashkeel to make anyone understand clearly :)

مثلث قطرب - قصيدة غنية عن التعريف تعتبر بحق من أهم ما قيل في اللغة العربية و هي طويلة نوعا ما و لكن الفائدة منها كبيرة.

و القصيدة هي بهذا الشكل: في كل بيت من أبيات هذه القصيدة كلمة استخدمها الشاعر ثلاث مرات، مرة بالفتح و مرة بالكسر و مرة بالضم .
على سبيل المثال في مطلع هذه القصيدة :
إن دموعي غمر و ليس عندي غمر فقلت ياذا الغمر أقصر عن التعتب

و هذه الأبيات مدمجة بشرح ابن زريق، فبعد كل بيت يشرح ابن زريق الكلمات التي ذكرت ثلاث مرات و يساعدك في فهم معانيها.
