Why do any sort of non-semitic non-middle eastern Jews migrate to Israel?
MSNBC has a bit of a conflicting report than your NY times one but the outcome is fundamentally one in the same...Nazism and Zionism are both based on racist ideologies so why are we so surprised so see the fruits of their labor?

I see Nazism as a concept of superiority.
I see Zionism as the belief that god gave people a home land.
I see no commonality.
