How can I learn arabic?

I am so interested in learning Arabic, but do not have the faintest idea where to start.

Can anyone recommend a site or book for someone who has only ever known English, French and Spanish?

there are many threads on this topic...just search the arabic forum section Insha'ALLAH, many people will probably tell you that its impossible to teach yourself arabic...hmm
