In the 1920s some bishop suggested the big bang to the scientists.I wonder where he got the idea from.

Who knows it's so dumb and unrealistic. The big bang wow suddenly there was a bang and the universe as we know it came into existence.

:sl:

You're right, it is in the Qur'an. If it was unrealistic then it wouldn't be the most convincing theory yet!

Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

Are you suggesting that he could have got the idea from the holy Qur'an? Sounds about right!

What is your Source for this claim? I hate to inform you but the Big Bang theory was not created on the basis of some rumours from the religious community; it was designed on the basis of scientific evidence.

no wait some Bishop went to Einstein and suggested about it.

BIG BANG THEORY. *Georges Lemaitre*, a Belgian priest, PREDICTED from his reworking of Einstein's theories, that space would be found to be expanding. Einstein himself at first resisted the implications but later applauded them. The expansion of space was soon confirmed. An IMPLICATION of Lemaitre's theories was background radiation. He was notified of the discovery of this radiation as he lay dying. A note found in Lemaitre's manuscripts said "It all had to have begun with light." His was the first scientific-mathematical creation theory, soon supplanted by better models. It is interesting to note that *Bishop Robert Grosseteste*, studying light, advocated (on philosophical-theological grounds) a primitive Big Bang expansionist theory in the thirteenth century

so brother due to such events I am always in search of articles which refute any allegations such as that the scientific statements in the Quran were borrowed from some other people.as a result I ask for help online.

Greetings,

What scientific statements are there in the Qur'an? It's not a book of science, is it?

Peace

Greetings Abdul Aziz,

What exactly is scientific about those two statements?

Peace
