If I am allowed, I am going to criticize this thread a bit. I see it's very long - 237 pages. I study Urdu and consider it a very beautiful language due to the fact that it comprises Farsi, Arabic and Sanskrit in itself. But I don't think posting separate words in Urdu to be of much help for those studying Urdu. It would be of more help if you posted everyday useful phrases (I don't mean just very simple ones like 'hallo' and 'thank you') and would write them in Urdu script + transcription. Using this chance, I would like also ask dear Pakistani\Indian brothers some personal questions:
1. I cannot find any digital textbook of Urdu, except some published in the 19th century. Could you, please, show any link to one, or maybe you have it yourselves?
2. I would like to find a pen-friend interested in Russian and exchange language information with him\her
