Feel free to post any random islamic poems here thank U

Muslim Teens

Good grades aren’t everything
Neither are looks
If people do not like you, hey Allah loves you
If you feel like you’re worth nothing
Your wrong
You’re a Muslim
And that’s a reason enough to live
Not just live but live proud
Do you think the pretty are happy?
Do you think the popular are happy?
Do you think the intelligent are happy?
They don’t know the meaning of life
They feel constant void, a gap, and emptiness
They will eventually search madly to find an answer
An answer that you were born knowing
Life changes, people changes, and you think it’s not fair
And your right it’s not
But life it’s not fair its test
Test don’t always come in the form of enormous
Moral dilemmas, catastrophes that you watch on the news
Quite often there so small you overlook them
Or silently wonder why they happened to you
A bad mark is a test
A bad teacher is a test
Having no friends is a test
Complaining won’t solve anything
Prayer will
You are a Muslim
Your ultimate goal is to worship Allah
Serve Allah, Please Allah
Not to please your friends, your teachers, your society
Will they defend you in the Hereafter?
Will they even know your name in the Hereafter?
Will they even know your name in ten years?
Lets keep our goal in mind
Stay focused and work towards it.

Science and Faith

Once Science said to Faith:

"My eye can see all that is in this world;
The Entire world is within my net.
I am only concerned with material things,
What have I to do with spiritual matters?
I can strike a thousand melodies,
And openly proclaim all the secrets that I learn."

Faith said:

"With your magic even the waves in the sea are set ablaze,
You can pollute the atmosphere with foul, poisonous gases.
When you associated with me, you were light,
When you broke off from me, your light became fire.
You were of Divine origin,
But you have been caught in the clutches of Shaytan.
Come, make this wasteland a garden once again.
Borrow from me a little of my ecstasy,
And in the world set up a paradise.
From the day of creation we have been associates,
We are the low and high tunes of the same melody."

MY JIHAD

As i get ready to go into the outside world
I look in the mirror
What do i see?
My beauty
Then i slip on the hijab
why?
I cover my outer beauty
So you take a look at my inner beauty
I step into the cruel and unjust society
of this "free" country
i look at avoiding eyes and stares
i hear whispering from every side
i think to myself "i am not here to please everyone"
i am here to please Allah
then i hold my head with the hijab high
Allah has chosen this jihad for me to overcome
yes this is my jihad

Those Eyes

Suddenly I look up into those eyes,
I cannot think as I am mesmerised
The deep colour is hard to explain
But in those eyes I see a flame

Those eyes hold so many mysteries
I’m fascinated by the sight
They look at me with questioning glances
The face smiles at me
The eyes go bright

“Revive and Unite … Jihad Fi Sabillillah”I hear the man shout

I’m pulled away from the extraordinary stare
I turn and realise, suddenly I fear
Tears strolled out of my yes
I feel pain deep inside my heart

The next thing I see
Hurts me immensely

I watch as the man is brutally killed
Severely mutilated
I hear him reciting

“Laillaha Illallahu Muhammadhur Rasoolallah”

He was slowly killed
But the smile remained

As I smiled I took one step forward
Towards the body

But … I then realised that I was dreaming!!!

The man was a MUJAHID
A SHAHEED
Who strived in the name of ALLAH (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)

That may have been a dream
But our Muslim brothers and sisters also go through similar torments

Ya ALLAH (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)
Make the Mujahideen victorious!!!
Ameen Suma Ameen!!!

Whatever Happened ?

What happened to those days when my faith was strong?
When I wouldn't dare think of doing anything wrong
When my trust in Allah would lead me through
The good and bad, the old and new
What happened to the days when my prayer was sincere?
When there was absolutely nothing on earth I would fear
When I was certain that Allah was very near
And would run to Him and leave all else that is dear
What happened to those days when I could recite well?
When I bought Paradise and this world I would sell
When my heart was pure and all full of light
When my Salah was my source of strength and might
What's wrong my soul, why did you fall?
Don't you know that Allah hears your call?
A little test like this shouldn't beat you so
It shouldn't pull you down to a level so low
Don't you know that Allah always chooses what is best
And that this is all part of a previously planned test

Allah is Great, Allah is Al-Hakeem
His ways are just, no matter how hard it may seem
Hold on my soul, to the fireball in your palm
Hold on tight and when it burns, be calm
Whenever it falls, bend down and restart
Let out the tears and wipe clean that heart
Get back on your feet and go back to those days
You will soon see this is only a transient phase

Women in Islam

How do women fit into Islam? What is their fate?

This has been the subject of many a debate

‘For the believing men and women, is a great reward’

This is from Surah al-Ahzab, the words of our Lord

It can be seen from reading the Holy Qur'an

That a woman has some privilege over a man

Praying is exempted during menstruation

Here Islam gives women consideration

A woman after marriage, becomes a wife

For nine long months, she carries new life

During childbirth, she is exempted to fast

Islam is against the burying of live girls in the past

They can pray at the Mosque or pray at home

They may marry or divorce - it's their choice, their own

After marriage, she can retain her old maiden name

And is rewarded for treating all her offspring the same

Once they are married, they should live pious lives

‘And the best men are those who are best to their wives’

Women in the UK, had property rights from 1938

This right was given by Islam, 14 centuries to date

In the UK, women could vote from 1918

This was given 1400' years ago in Islam - our Deen

Women can work and lead a happily married life

But shouldn’t neglect her role as mother and wife

A woman for her child’s upbringing, deserves her credit

Islam also gives a woman the right to inherit

A woman’s status in Islam, we should never neglect

In Islam they are favoured and deserve their respect

Absolutely wonderful! Much appreciated brother!!
guess what? I think the first poem is so touching. It is such a true reflection of how many people think these days. The first one is my favourite.
When we're going through a tough time - its great to know that Allah is on your side, isnt it? And i always feel as if i've grown - once the problem has died down or when i know how to deal with the problem better. It develops your personality, your temperament. Yes you have Allah but if he has blessed you with patience - you're 3/4 of the way there. thats my point of view anyway.
Peace.

Its up to you.

One song can spark a moment,
One flower can wake the dream.
One tree can start a forest,
One bird can herald spring.
One smile begins a friendship,
One handclasp lifts a soul.
One star can guide a ship at sea,
One word can frame the goal.
One vote can change a nation,
One sunbeam lights a room.
One candle wipes out darkness,
One laugh will conquer gloom.
One step must start each journey,
One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch can show you care.
One voice can speak with wisdom,
One heart can know what's true.
One life can make the difference,
You see, IT'S UP TO YOU!

READ MY MIND…

My prayer is to die a Mu'min
Not just a Muslim
Buried in the clothes I die
Never washed, my wounds fresh

My prayer is to wake up
With my wounds still bleedin
Incensed with musk like fragrance
With my face filled with radiance

My prayer is to see Abu Qassim
Smiling at me with Abu Bakr
Mentioning me to Abu Hafsa
Uthman, Ali and Ibn Abi Waqqas

My prayer is to meet Mus'ab
Glowing in his garden
Earned with his efforts at uhud
Having borders with Julaybib

My prayer is to be ushered
Into a garden with large-eyed maidens
All mine! O’ fiesta
No pain, no siesta!

My prayer is to go lounging
Chillin on suspended sofas
With floors made of marbles
Underneath flowing stream of laban

My prayer is to go camping
Strolling near the banks of Al-Khauthar

Seeing from afar the place of abi dharrin
Ibn mas'ud, Ibn Abbas and Ibn Umar

O’ Allah, accept my prayers
Knowing You know my mind
My brother and sister, say amin
Cuz I know you read my mind!

MY BELOVED

There was a time in my youth,
When Islam was only a custom.
They said "say La IIaha IIIa Allah,..
And pray, you'll go to Heaven."

Ah, how simple, no struggle in this,
Just a word, and simple act.
Thereafter I'm absorbed in this world again,
With my 'assured' place in Paradise intact

But this was not to be my fate
For ALLAH chose to guide my heart.
I learnt of a man who struggled so hard
When his mission was from the start.

The story of someone who had morals,
Spoke gently, kindness he knew.
Never fearing to say what's right,
His conviction in ISLAM was true.

The touch of his hand was as soft as silk
To comfort a crying child.
To mend his clothes, or do the chores,
Never complaining, he always smiled.

A living he made with his bare hands,
The same that held his mighty sword.
Valour shone from the edge of his blade,

His smell was always of musk,
And cleanliness he kept at his best.
Stark contrast with the heroes of today,
Who stink of beer and sweat.

He held the hands of his companions.
Unashamed to play with many children.
So modest, so humble, a perfect example,
That strangers could not recognise him.

His eyes slept little for nights were precious,
His prayers he treasured much greater.
To pray Tahajjud in the depths of night,
Seeking forgiveness, and nearness to his Creator.

He broke his tooth for me at Uhud,
And bled for me at Ta'if.
He cried for me, tears of concern,
Just so I could have this belief.

His enemies admired his teachings,
Uniting every religion, every clan.
Till ISLAM came to every corner of the world,
O, but indeed he was only a man.

To own a house, or build his wealth
Was not his main priority.
To establish ISLAM was more essential,
To bring us under a Higher Authority.

Don't you want him to plea for your case,
When before ALLAH-The Judge-you stand?
Don't you wish to be around his fountain,
A burning desire to drink from his hand?

So I love him more than all creation,
My Leader, my Humble Prophet.
Muhammad (SAWS) was a mercy to all mankind,
And to me, he is MY BELOVED !

THE VEIL (HIJAB)

They say, Oh, poor girl, you are so

beautiful you know,

It’s a shame that you cover up your

beauty so,

She just smiles and graciously

Responds reassuringly,

This beauty that I have is just one

Simple part of me,

This body that I have ,no stranger Has the right to see,

These long clothes, this shawl I Wear,

ensure my modesty,(Hayaa)

Faith is more essential than fashion,

Wouldn’t you agree This Hijab,

This mark of piety (Takva),

Is an act of faith,a symbol

For all the world to see..

ISLAM

Islam is a way of life, try it.
Islam is a gift, accept it.
Islam is a journey, complete it.
Islam is a struggle, fight for it.
Islam is a goal, achieve it.
Islam is an opportunity, take it.
Islam is not for sinners, overcome it.
Islam is not a game, don't play with it.
Islam is not a mystery, behold it.
Islam is not for cowards, face it.
Islam is not for the dead, live it.
Islam is a promise, fulfill it.
Islam is a duty, perform it.
Islam is a treasure (the Prayer), pray it.
Islam is a beautiful way of life, see it.
Islam has a message for you, hear it.
Islam is love, love it.

My Allah, My Life.

This earth, this duniya, is a drop of a sea
The final destination, The Akhirra, which is beyond infinity

This test and trial makes me blue
Fighting shaytaan is the hardest thing I ever had to do

Years and days will quickly go by
To Allah alone I cry, who will always stay close by my side

Allah has commanded us to give Zakah and Pray,
This Deen is of Allah and his Messenger, not some play
So let us repent for the sins we commit night & day

My days are lonely and they are cold,
My goal is to obey Allah as my days grow old & he takes my soul

Allah is present everywhere, Allhamdu lillah my connection with him is strong
He lives in my heart, his mercy and blessings are enormous & beyond

When I sacrifice and give up something for his sake,
In return he rewards me with something better in its place

My life is corrupted and my days are rough,
Sometimes my tests and trials get so tough,
But for the sake of Allah, it's never enough

Allah & his Quran is my guide
If he wasn't there for me, I'd break, swelter & die

My mother is gone far & away,
A visitor has descended upon her grave,
Comforting her & soothing her endless pain

She was in her Jahalliya days, Ya Allah only if she prayed!
Her Salaat & good Am'als would have saved her on this day

I know my mother is gone, and Jannah lies in her feet
She is distant from me, buried in too deep
If not in this world, then in the next we will surely meet

Death

It was early in the morning at four,
When death knocked upon a bedroom door,

Who is there? The sleeping one cried.
I'm Malakul Mawt, let me inside.

At once, the man began to shiver,
As one sweating in deadly fever,

He shouted to his sleeping wife,
Don't let him take away my life.

Please go away, O Angel of Death!
Leave me alone; I'm not ready yet.

My family on me depends,
Give me a chance, O please prepense!

The angel knocked again and again,
Friend! I'll take your life without a pain,

This your soul Allah requires,
I come not with my own desire.

Bewildered, the man began to cry,
O Angel I'm so afraid to die,

I'll give you gold and be your slave,
Don't send me to the unlit grave.

Let me in, O Friend! The Angel said,
Open the door; get up from your bed,

If you do not allow me in,
I will walk through it, like a Jinn.

The man held a gun in his right hand,
Ready to defy the Angel's stand.

I'll point my gun, towards your head,
You dare come in; I'll shoot you dead.

By now the Angel was in the room,
Saying, O Friend! Prepare for you doom.

Foolish man, Angels never die,
Put down your gun and do not sigh.

Why are you afraid! Tell me O man,
To die according to Allah's plan?

Come smile at me, do not be grim,
Be Happy to return to Him.

O Angel! I bow my head in shame,
I had no time to take Allah's Name.

From morning till dusk, I made my wealth,
Not even caring for my health.

Allah's command I never obeyed,
Nor five times a day I ever prayed.

A Ramadan came and a Ramadan went,
But no time had I to repent.

The Hajj was already FARD on me,
But I would not part with my money.

All charities I did ignore,
Taking usury more and more.

O Angel! I appeal to you,
Spare my life for a year or two.

The Laws of Quran I will obey,
I'll begin SALAT this very day.

My Fast and Hajj, I will complete,
And keep away from self-conceit.

I will refrain from usury,
And give all my wealth to charity,

We Angels do what Allah demands,
We cannot go against His commands.

Death is ordained for everyone,
Father, mother, daughter or son.

I'm afraid this moment is your last,
Now be reminded, of your past,

I do understand your fears,
But it is now too late for tears.

You lived in this world, two score and more,
Never did you, your people adore.

Your parents, you did not obey,
Hungry beggars, you turned away.

Instead of making more Muslims,
You made your children non-Muslims.

You ignored the Mua'dhin Adhaan,
Nor did you read the Holy Quran.

Breaking promises all your life,
Backbiting friends, and causing strife.

From hoarded goods, great profits you made,
And your poor workers, you underpaid.

Horses and cards were your leisure,
Moneymaking was your pleasure.

You ate vitamins and grew more fat,
With the very sick, you never sat.

A pint of blood you never gave,
Which could a little baby save?

O Human, you have done enough wrong,
You bought good properties for a song.

When the farmers appealed to you,
You did not have mercy, tis true.

Paradise for you? I cannot tell,
Undoubtedly you will dwell in hell.

There is no time for you to repent,
I'll take your soul for which I am sent.

The ending however, is very sad,
Eventually the man became mad

With a cry, he jumped out of bed,
And suddenly, he fell down dead.

O Reader! Take moral from here,
You never know, your end may be near

Change your living and make amends
For heaven, on your deeds depends.

Death

The Righteous will die,
and the wicked will die ...
The warriors who fight jihaad will die,
and those who sit at home will die ...
Those who busy themselves with correct belief will die,
and those who treat the people as their slaves will die ...
The brave who reject injustice will die,
and the cowards who seek to cling onto this life at any price will die ...
The people of great concern and lofty goals will die,
and the wretched people who live only for cheap enjoyment will die ...
Every soul shall taste of death ...

I'M TOO BUSY

Everyday as i wake up at dawn
My mind start working the moment i yawn
There were many things to do, o dear!
That's why i hastily did my Subuh prayer
I didn't have the time to sit longer to
praise the Lord
To me rushing out after prayer is nothing odd...

Since school, i had been busy every minute
Completing my tutorials and handing it in
My ECAs took up most of my time always
No time did i have to Allah to pray
Too many things to do and zikir is rare
For Allah, I really had no time to spare..

When i grew up and started my career
Working all day to secure my future
When I reached home, I prefered to have fun
I chatted on the phone but i didn't read the Quran
I spent too much time surfing the Internet
Sad to say, my faith was falling flat...

The only time i have left is weekends
During which i prefer window shopping with friends
I couldn't spare time to go to the mosque
I'm too busy, that's the BIG EXCUSE...

I did my five prayers but did so quickly
After prayer, I didn't sit longer to reflect quietly
I didn't have time to help the needy ones
I was loaded with work as my precious time runs

No time at all to visit a sick Muslim friend
To orphans and elderly, I hardly lent a hand
I'm too busy to do community service
When there were gatherings, I helped the least

My life was already full of stress
So i didn't counsel a Muslim in distress
I didn't spend much time with my family
B'coz i thought, doing so is a waste of time...

No time to share with non-Muslim about Islam
Even though I know, inviting causes no harm
No time to do Sunnah prayers at all
All these contribute to my imaan's fall..

I'm busy here and busy there
I've no time at all, that's all i care
I went for religious lessons, just once in awhile
Coz i'm too busy making a pile...

I worked all day and i slept all night
Too tired for Tahajjud and it seemed not right
To me, earning a living was already tough
so i only did basic deeds but that's not enough..

No time at all, to admire God's creation
No time to praise All_h and seek His Compassion
Although I know how short is my life
For Islam, I really didn't strive..

Finally the day comes, when the Lord calls for me
And I stood before Him with my Life's History

I feel so guilty b'coz i should have prayed more
Isn't that what a Muslim lives for?
To thank Allah and do more good deeds
And the Quran is for us all to read..

Now at Judgement Day, I'm starting to fret
I've wasted my life but it's too late to regret
My entry to Paradise depend on my good behaviour
But i've not done enough nor did proper prayer

My "good deed book" is given from my right
An angel opened my "book" and read out my plight.
Then the angel chided me....

"O You Muslim servant, you are the one,
Who is given enough time, yet not much is done
Do you know that your faith is loose?
saying "no time" is only an excuse.
Your "good deed book" should be filled up more
with all the good work you stood up for..

Hence, I only recorded those little good deeds
As I say this, I know your eyes will mist..
I was about to write some more, you see
But i did not have, THE TIME to list".......

THE END..

AN AWAKENING

A reflection under misinterpretation,
Under threat by the devil’s deceitful impersonations,
Under no reason have we the right to lead ourselves to treason,
Far more needless causes and deeds in dying trees,
Falling leaf by leaf in terrible weakening,
We share our society’s anxiety without disbelieving.

We cry in the name of “God”
with a sword of fear striking through our skin,
Our soul is wounded; it’s bleeding
while our hearts are beating
to gain a peaceful meditation,
To thank God for his blessing,
on our knees paused in prostration
until we gain his satisfaction.

Forget your dreams and understand our means,
our inevitable feats,
To raise our flags of pride,
adorned with the blood of soldiers; side by side,
Aligned as one in victory or in defeat,
Deep in our heart…UNITY accumulates inside.

Fighting temptations like a battle of extreme conditions
By the night that veils the day,
And the fog that veils the sun,
A star fights to conquer the night,
Possessed by the revelations whispered by the moonlight.

The pen has been lifted and the pages have dried,
God is most Giving and the light has promised us an awakening.

The Quran Sharif

A Book that is full of answers,
A Book that makes you cry.
A Book that makes you notice,
How much harder you can try.
A Book that makes you realize,
What true love really is...
A Book that gives you direction,
for all of life’s tough biz.
A Book that gives you hope,
that Someone somewhere’s watching over you.
A Book that helps you out,
Through all the times your blue.
A Book that was revealed to our beloved Prophet(SAWS),
over a period of 23 years
Once you put faith into this Book,
You can handle worldly fears.
A gift sent down from Heaven,
A treasure from above,
Written proof that shows us
How blessed we are with Allah(SWT’s) love!

YESTERDAY WHEN
I was trying to be happy
I loved those who love me
I respected those who respect me
I smiled at those who smiled at me
I helped those who help me
I hated those who hate me

BUT
I was sad and bad, and
I was called selfish

TODAY
I sit alone in the night
The glittering stars from
The clear blue sky
Stared at me and smiled at me
That you are happy. I said yes
Hoping I am on the way
Like a honey bee searching blossoms

BECAUSE
I love those who hate me
I respect those who never respect me
I smile at those who never smile at me
I am generous and kind to those who are strangers to me.
I am a muslim.

Imagine

Imagine yourself

After you pass away

Imagine your grave

Through night and through day
Wishing that you did not do as they say
Wishing that you had got up to pray

Imagine, my friends,

The day that you died
Imagine all the tears that they cried

Remember how it felt

When your body was tied

Remember how it felt

During death's final ride

Imagine the Day

You'll be called to account
Imagine the sum

To which your life will amount

Think for a moment

Of the deeds which you mount

Think for a moment

How much they will count

What will they say of you

When you are dead?
What will they remember?

What will be said?

Will they speak of

All the poor whom you fed?
Will they remember

All the Qur'an that you read?

Think of Allah

Lord of mankind and jinn

Think of Allah

Whenever tempted to sin

Think of Paradise

Which you will dwell in
Do not wait until later

To think what might've been

A Silent Du'a

All praises are for You Allah

How I know that You are there

For sinful though I surely am

Your displeasure I cannot bear

Never till this moment

Did I realize how much I've strayed
Never was I more conscious

Of the times I should have prayed

Ya Allah! Forgive me

Save me from the fire of Hell
Forgive me as You did my ancestors

From Jannah though they fell

Ya Allah! Protect me from all evil

For my soul is frail and weak
Let me not falter ever

For Jannah's the abode I seek

My actions once were guided -

By my faith which once was strong
Ya Allah! Please give me guidance

What happened? What went wrong?

Each footstep that I used to take

I took with You by my side

The Qur'an was my close companion -

My healing and my guide

Ya Allah! Please help me

For I don't understand and thus, I fear
What happened to all those days

When I never doubted You were near?

I sit here and I wonder Oh Allah,

Why did I fall so low?
What happened to my faith Allah?

Where did my Iman go?

How I yearn for those days Allah

For I know that the Day comes near

When each soul receives its just rewards
And Truth stands sparkling clear

In this short life of ours
So often does sin seem right

Falsehood seems to be the truth

Like day confused with night

Life is like a spider's web Allah

We get caught in its tricky snare

So often are we disillusioned

Time for prayer we cannot spare

We are sinful creatures Allah

So please forgive us when we wrong
For the road to Jannah is rocky

And the journey seems arduously long

Ya Allah! Our Creator,

Have mercy on us on Judgement Day
Please guide us with our steps in life

And let us not ever lose our way

All praises are for You Allah

I know that You are near
I know that You have read my heart

And my words I know You hear
