ANSWER:

Or (take) the similitude of one who passed by a hamlet, all in ruins to its roofs. He said: "Oh! how shall Allah bring it (ever) to life, after (this) its death?" but Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him up (again). He said: "How long didst thou tarry (thus)?" He said: (Perhaps) a day or part of a day." He said: "Nay, thou hast tarried thus a hundred years; but look at thy food and thy drink; they show no signs of age; and look at thy donkey: And that We may make of thee a sign unto the people, Look further at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh." When this was shown clearly to him, he said: "I know that Allah hath power over all things."

002.259
I think it was Uzayr AS and his donkey who pondered how will Allah swt bring life to the dead, so he was made to die for a 100 years and woke to find the donkey he was travelling with turned into a skeleton! And wen he went into the shopping market he found the currency had changed!

Ok next question :D

hmmm..but you see your question was :

Question:
Who was the person who asked Allah, "how is it you will bring life to the dead".

...............like asked Allah directly!!

but in the ayat you stated akhee the question isn't directed to Allah subhaanahuu wa Ta3alaa.....He said :oh how shall Allah bring it to life".....

Do you have a source where i can check that this person was 3uzayr!!?
cause it seems like this person is majhuul (not known)...."or(take) the smiltude of one who passed by a hamlet!!...
barakAllaahu feek!

i love this thread, i came across so many ayyats which jus made me freeze!! SubhanALlah

ANSWER:

He said: "Shall I trust you with him with any result other than when I trusted you with his brother aforetime? But Allah is the best to take care (of him), and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy!"
[/quote]

"But Allah is the best to take care of him" <---- This shows that u should hav tawwaqul on Allah coz wivout him no1 else can take care of u!

For, Believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord
^This also shows that we should have Tawwaqul on Allah!

Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error."
^^ This is my fav one!! Shows directly that we shud put trust in Allah swt!!
NEXT QUESTION:
Give me an three ayyats containing signs of Allahs miracles.

1) SURAT AL-BAQARAH :
behold in the creations of the heavens and the earth, in the alteration, inthe alteration of the night and the day , in the sailing of ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind, in the rain which Allah sends down from the skies, and the life which He gice therewith to an erth that is dead , in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth,in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth,
indeed are signs for a people that are wise..."

2)SURAT AL-BAQARAH TOO!
" Behold safaaa and marwa are among the symbols of Allah.........."

it's my turn to say........pheeeeeww i guess!..LOL!

3)surat al-qamar :

i expected the answer just from u Br.
n sis spy what wrong was in ur answer was u said ".....u shud take a hadiya for the prophet", whereas its tht ".....u shud offer some sadaqa[gv something in charity] b4 u consult the prophet."
n abt this ayah Hazrat Ali[r.a] said he was the only one to act on this order, n soon after tht the next ayah was revealed cancelling tht order.

k, next question:

how many times does the Quran mention:

Wa maa Adraaka [Actually do comment on the transliteration inshaAllah, lets fix it up :D]

"What will inform you?"

I chose this question to emphasise the blessings of Allahs knowledge, wivout Allah telling us we would know NOTHING!

no wait it with a team.
ch.79 ver1-2
1.By those {angels} who pull out {the souls of the desbelievers and wicked} whith great violence.
2.By those {angels} who gently take out {the souls of the beleivers}.

The truth is there are many ayahs showing that they work as a team, sis era got the one I had in mind Anam 61 but mashAllah muslimah421 managed to keep it simple and still got it right. Most people would think this question would be to complex and thus start researching the longer surahs but the truth is, the answer could also be found in surah Naziat.

that's what i had in mind aswell akhee...an-naazi3aat itself is the plural of naazi3, which means: those who tear out the souls....in the ayaah it's : by the angels who tear out the souls with violence....

right:peace:

Allah says in Surah At-Tahrim : O Prophet! Why do you ban that wich Allah has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is
Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
What is the thing the Prophet banned and why?

ass salaamu alaykum,

there's a difference of opinion between ahl-al-3ilm but the one that i'm more familiar with that it has to do with that qissat between aisha hafsah and zaynab radiyallaahu 3anhunna...
where the Prophet salalaahu 3alayhi wasallam drank honey from bayt zaynab...and he swore never to do so again!!
and then Allah subhaanahuu wa ta3aalaa sent down this aayah!!
