A phone conversation between me and a woman who phone my courier agent today.
"Why my package still hasn't arrived until now?"
"I will check. Can you mention your package shipment number?"
"My package shipment number is ......"
"But we do not issue shipment number like that. Are you sure the package shipped through this company?"
"Sure!"
"In which office the package was sent?"
"I don't know. I am not the shipper. I bought stuff in online shop and have paid it. The seller said that the stuff has been sent through your company with that shipment number. But after more than a week the package still hasn't arrived"
"Oh, no!. It's happen again". I said in my heart.
Yeah, few people ever complain to my office because they have paid the stuffs that they bought in online shop, but the package never arrived. However, after I checked, all shipment numbers that given by the seller were fake. In another word, they became victims of (fake) online shop fraud. It makes me concerned. Not only because make people lose their money. But also because it ruin reputation of online business.
Okay, bro, sis. Have you ever bought something online?. Then what made you sure that seller was not fraudster?. And if you are the seller, how you assure the buyer that you are not fraudster?.
I generally just order from amazon or ebay, and once in a while I'll use ali baba. But if i want to order from anywhere else, I always check if they have a facebook page, and I'll google the company to see if there are any reviews about their services. If there's nothing that shows that they have any history or a good reputation at all then I won't order from them.
I prefer to use PayPal. If anything goes wrong, they're pretty helpful and refund the money.
The rule is: 'if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is!' It makes sense to be cautious.

I check their social media pages and whether they're a UK company. Seems safer.
